Roleplaying

At the moment I am engaged in a roleplay at Pandemonium. It's about Angels, Demons and Mortals, the Demons are using and abusing the poor sinful Mortals and my job is to save their immortal souls and guide them to heaven.

Problem is, many of the mortals don't want to be saved because they enjoy the BDSM roleplay... so our job is cut out for us.

Anyhoo, I have updated to a new LeLutka Head and a EvoX face (you can see the pores), as well as a Belleza Jake body. Don't I look stunning?

I haven't engaged in roleplaying before to any significant extent, so it still feels a bit strange but I am sure I'll get used to emoting and such after awhile.

Visiting Days of O

"O is taken by her lover to a castle where she is ravished by a number of men. When she returns to her apartment and her work O is forced to follow many rules with the aim to make her a perfect slave. Submission is becoming increasingly important in her life; as the agonies become more difficult, they are also sweeter to endure. O wears her scars with pride."
The above is a back-cover synopsis for "The Story of O" by Pauline Réage (1954) which is an erotic novel on the themes of love, dominance and submission.

The last part of the last sentence already has me so scared and freaked out that I would never consider reading it. I am so vanilla it is probably boring. The only marks I would ever consider having after lovemaking would be hickeys or chafed knees.

Besides, it seems so uncomfortable to me to lug about trunks of heavy duty equipment and clothing for sex when all I really need is condoms and a small vial of lube.

This rant was brought on by my visit to a sim called "Days of O" yesterday, with my Tomais, JJ and Aeon. A beautiful sim dedicated to - as I understand it - the BDSM lifestyle and the famous novel.

One thing good came out of it though, I found my perfect "master" and/or "slave", see the picture above.

Below is a picture of Aeon with his newfound true-love Betsy The Sheep in his arms.

Safeword

A safeword makes it possible for a submissive involved in BDSM to say "No" or "Stop" and pretend as much as he or she wants without really meaning it while still having a safe way of indicating they seriously need the scene to stop.

I am not involved in the BDSM scene but have for completely different reasons negotiated a safeword or a code word with someone. The agreed upon word is "Orange" and is to be used when either of us wishes a certain behaviour to cease or all communication to stop immediately until the following day.

As I am a forgetful person, I am posting it here for future reference so I can find it when I need it. Otherwise I may end up shouting "Indigo", "Crimson", "Aquamarine" or something else in a futile attempt to bring an end to something.

Do You Speak Draconian?

I have been thinking about my post "Whats in A Name?"

I feel that perhaps it could be read sort of like a gay anthem, "I am what I am and what I am needs no excuses" and some people may have gotten the impression that I am completely against role playing as a concept for everyone. Well, I am not!

Role playing doesn't suit me, with my limited imagination and needs, but I totally respect and accept that others are more evolved, have other needs and are more imaginative in unfolding their inner spirits.

The BDSM-scene in SecondLife is huge I am told, but to me it holds no allure. Pain or even the thought of causing or enduring it - aside from more or less gentle nibbling - is a complete turnoff for me. That being said does however not mean that I cannot understand why others can and do find it enticing. One of the most prominent Swedes on the SecondLife BDSM scene, Stoltz Sinatra, appeared in a Swedish television program last week. He was a perfectly charming man who spoke about his interest for electro-sex with passion and humor.

Other common forms of role playing in SecondLife involve fairies (the kind with pointed ears and butterfly wings, not the LGBT ones), vampires, furries, angels and even dragons. I must admit an almost total lack of knowledge as to what these groups are up to, except for the fact that fairies are great builders

As far as I know I am friends with two vampires (Yannis and his wife Orchid), a tomcat (sirhc, although I am not sure he qualifies as a furry) and a dragon.

The dragon I am acquainted with is Irwin Blachere, who is one of the friendliest and most mild mannered souls in SecondLife - or even outside of it. We have been talking for a few years now, mostly in group chat about anything between heaven and earth but sometimes in IM about personal experiences.

Strangely enough it wasn't until today when I roamed the Internet looking for pictures of hir that I realized that Irwin is a wellknown persona, who even has hir own article on WikiFur: Irwin (of the Blackheart Ridge).

Actually before reading the article I didn't even know that dragons were a species of furries, I always thought they were reptilian. (I did not find a good picture of Irwin on the Internet, so I had to go through my own archives until i found the one I am using here.)

Bock McMillan breathes: Oh in conclusion, dragons do not speak, they use telepathy!
