Pair of Photos - A Photography Exhibition

When my ex-wife Iendi Laville, after the tragic annulment of our marriage, moved on to straight men she happened to stumble over the gorgeous Holy Archer (but only after I had pointed him out for her - or so I like to tell them both). It was a match made in the SecondLife heavens and the two are one of the loveliest couples I know.

They soon discovered that they both had a passion for photography in first life. When they compared their individual pictures they found some striking similarities between their works and as they looked further and deeper they found even more. The coupled photography of their combined work will now be exhibited together at Aake Roffo's art gallery on the Yadkin sim (SLurl).

The exhibition opens tomorrow, Monday September 23, 2013, at 12:00PM SLT, and continues until the end of October.

All the photography can be bought for 0 (zero) L$, but any contribution to the Relay For Life kiosk at the gallery is encouraged and welcomed.

RL Photo Exhibition & A Colorful Rezday

On Thursday I was invited by tthe gallery owner Aake Roffo to a exhibition opening at his gallery at Yadkin. The exhibition was called "Houses in RL" and featured the first life photography of Kaja Lurra, well known sim landscaper in SecondLife.

I liked the pictures a lot and even bought a beautiful one showing some old beautiful blue tapestry. As I am mostly a people person here are some pictures of the visitors at the exhibition.

After the gallery opening I had originally planned to retire because I had a early morning meeting in first life on Friday, but Kandinsky Beaumont and Apmel Goosson convinced me I would have time to drop in at a rezday party.

The rezday party was for SaveMe Oh, famous and/or notorious performance artist in SecondLife. She has made her whole public existence inworld into art by behaving rudely and by being obnoxious and cantankerous. Sometimes I find it amusing and am wholeheartedly entertained, at other times not so much.

Apmel and Kandi had been appointed as my caretakers by my little sister Millimina Salamander when she went off on a first life adventure for a couple of days. When I learned this I could not refuse them any more so I crashed the rezday party.

Luckily Apmel had warned me beforehand that it would be colorful, but what I saw when I was teleported in was the most amazingly bright cacophony of colors in all imaginable shapes and forms. It was a veritable bombardment of the visual preceptors (i.e my eyes). Occasionally we would also have shoals of sharks attacking us. I presume the shark is her totem-animal, but I am not sure.

I enjoyed the experience thoroughly but after about half an hour my sight was suffering from an overdose and it was time for me to sneak of to bed.

"I Was Robed!", says Laird

The innocent laird trying to avoid looking at Ms. Elise
The Much Honored Bock McMillan, laird of Southern Comfort and prince of Cascade falls, visited a club in Swedish SecondLife yesterday.

"I was in search of some light entertainment and relaxation so when I saw that OrmDricka (a Swedish club run by Mrs. Vampi Twine-DeSantis and a big cat, bloggers note), was having an "Under the Sea"-theme I thought it might be fun. I had just the right skin for it, I just needed to get some fins that I had seen previously at "Fallen Gods", the laird begins his recount of his ordeals the evening before.

The laird continues, "When I had finished dressing up for the occasion I looked absolutely stunning, even if I say so myself, I even thought that I was sure to win this contest. Those hopes all left me when I arrived at the venue. I was a bit late in arriving so the party had been going on awhile, but the men - all straight of course - in the place were already glassy-eyed and panting deeply. I was totally shocked and dismayed by what I saw. As everyone knows well I am not easily flustered, I earned the reputation of being the most most patient man in SecondLife after all."

Mrs, Vampi Twine-DeSantis, proprietor of the establishment
"The women were flaunting their boobs everywhere, not a single brassiere in sight. The boobs were bouncing, flopping and jittering all over the place!", the laird tells us with the grievous pain showing in his green glittering eyes and on beautiful face, "I have never seen anything like it before, the women must have maxed out on the physics on their bosoms. I didn't know where to look, it was so nauseating you cannot imagine. I am still traumatized. The straight men in the place just couldn't look at anything else, they were like zombies, hypnotized and completely enthralled."

Mr. Aake Roffo loses his footing while staring at Ms. Blanche´s assests
"Bouncing boobs, heterosexuality and the introduction of physics in SecondLife robed me of a sure victory", the laird concludes while a most perfect tear slowly rolls down his cheek.

It is reported to this blog that the laird is currently undergoing therapy for PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). The McMillan household is hoping for a speedy recovery. The contest was reportedly won by Ms. Blanche Argus with Ms. Jazmine Cazalet as runner up. The laird came in third place.

Hair - What a wonderful show!

Yesterday I went to the opening of Ewa Aska and Jesper Prinz latest production, "Hair". Let me tell you from the start: I had an amazing time!

The scenography was great and had the mark of Ewa´s attention to details. The music was great, well we knew that before we came. The animations were great. The cast was well rehearsed and gave us a great performance. Cutest among the performers was the newborn star, aake Roffo, he really looks great with long hair. Who said engineers aren´t sexy?

The audience was great too with the coolest seventies outfits and hairdo´s and all were in a great mood and the conversation was great to.

All in all it was all really G R E A T! Thank you Ewa, Jesper and your whole cast!

......
And now to something completely different...

BLOGGER WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE?
Your BLOODY picture editing is messing me up nowadays! It used to be "FAST, EASY AND FUN" to move the pictures, to resize them and to add a text underneath, but not anymore! IT IS DRIVING ME F-ING CRAZY, I CANNOT EVEN GET HOLD OF THE PICTURES SOMETIMES...

Twisten var nog min världsberömda "Jesters Hat in black silk".
