My New Snow HUD

OK I got this amazing thing, now all I have to do is to try to convince some genius and humble builder to help me set it up on Southern Charm. Oh, I should ask Dej if he wants some snow too.

Get it at Marketplace, Falling Snow System from Studio Skye. I think I got the winter terrain textures also, but I am not sure right now...

For the first time ever winter will be coming to Southern Charm this year!

Iono Captures SaveMe

When I watch this machinima I understand what straight men see when they look at women. My profound respect and gratitude goes to Iono Allen for this exceptional piece of art.

I would like to add that my former client Ms. SaveMe Oh has never looked more beautiful, even if she is always stunning!

A Must-See

"On the Grid; Living in Second Life" is a wonderful little documentary machinima made by greybox.tv on life in SecondLife and the residents differing views on it.

You can watch it on my buddy NE0 Timeless' blog Free Your Mind in this post Second Life Documentary: On the Grid. NE0 has always had an uncanny ability to find the most interesting machinimas on SecondLife. Kudos!

My favorite quote from the video is: "You can either say that there is NOTHING to do in Second Life... or that you can do ANYTHING"

Annoying SLebrity Takes A Stand

The famous - or perhaps even infamous - SecondLife performance artist and machinima creator extraordinaire SaveMe Oh today takes a stand against bullying on her weblog, "Stay With Your Filthy Hands Off Of My Swedish Friends".

I should think that SaveMe considers her whole SecondLife existence as an act of performing art because she usually creates uproar wherever she goes - usually somewhere in the SecondLife art community - by being as an agent provocateur. By her own admission she has been banned at more than 100 sims.

Admittedly SaveMe often annoys me but today she became my heroine and made my day by confronting one of the five leading Swedish bullies head on.

According to the opponents blog. she considers the conversation to be "threatening" and has now supposedly made an abuse report to Linden Lab, which shouldn't ´t lead to anything except a waste of valuable time.

From Second Life Wiki
Disclosing private Second Life conversations: Sharing or posting a conversation inworld or in the Second Life forums without consent of all involved Residents is a violation of the Terms of Service.
NOTE: This does not include posting of chat to social media sites or other websites. Posting such logs on web pages, emailing them, or printing them out and posting them on utility poles in the "real world" -- are all actions beyond the scope of the Second Life Terms of Service.; while that might be illegal, but those laws must be enforced by the proper law enforcement agencies."Conversation" means text that originally came from Second Life chat or Second Life instant messages. If it's totally unattributed, then it isn't considered disclosure. Additionally, Residents are not punished for sharing or posting a comment such as "Bob Resident said, 'You're the greatest!'" McMillans Root For Goosson/Nilsson

It was today brought to the McMillan households attention that the lairds bosom-buddy Mr. Apmel Goosson yesterday announced on his blog that his primatar Mr. Lennart Nilsson was going to take part in the MachinimUWA III: Journeys competition and that all his winnings from that contest would be donated to The Bock McMillan Art Foundation (a part of the BMcM Corporation).

When the news reached the household Wild Zepp, spokesman for the McMillan household, made the following statement:
"The much honored Bock McMillan, laird of Southern Charm and chairman of the art foundation, graciously accepts Mr Goossons generous contribution to the foundation and wishes him the best of luck in the competition.

It is an honor for the foundation to receive this benign attention from such a renowned benefactor of art and culture in SecondLife."
