Gallery J @ Second Pride Festival

It's been eight wonderful days of celebrating our Pride and although there are two more days to go of wonderful partying, meeting old friends and shopping or even having coffee, cupcakes and/or cookies at Bock in SecondLife's place @ Second Pride (SLurl) some of you may be in dire need of a short break from all the aforementioned activities!

Well, I have a great suggestion for you for a change of pace. Go visit the wonderful Gallery J (SLurl) at Second Pride Festival.

The gallery is running an exhibition, curated by Joseph Nussbaum, with the following well-known artists during Second Pride (in alphabetical order by their first names)

  • Alpha Auer,
  • Bee Glasswing,
  • Benjamin Glendale,
  • Boris Twist,
  • Buck Mischief,
  • João (formerly known as Joapedro Oh),
  • Joseph Nussbaum,

Venice by Night @ The Oval

This press release came to me from my special contact within The Gay Archipelago, my friend Garth Raleigh, the former lead who is now retired, but as busy as ever before.
"The Carnival of Venice (Italian: Carnevale di Venezia) is an annual festival, held in Venice, Italy. The Carnival ends with the Christian celebration of Lent, forty days before Easter on Shrove Tuesday (Fat Tuesday or Mardi Gras), the day before Ash Wednesday. The festival is famed for its elaborate masks.
You've still got time to do some shopping for the perfect mask and outfit to take home the title of Carnival King! (Hmm…what to wear, what to wear?)
Sunday, March 2, 2pm-4pm, the Oval Concert Hall on the GA Coronal Region invites YOU to attend the masquerade of the season! Join DJ Rascal as he spins the tunes and the extravagant guests whirl on the dancefloor of the beautifully-decorated Oval. Host Miguel will be there to make everyone feel….well, extravagant!
Here's your diamond-studded and heavily-feathered gondola to the Oval! (SLurl)"

Idea for Masquerade

I found this great picture of a hot man in an amazing and exotic outfit on my friend Torro Spyker´s blog The Bullring a good awhile ago.
Outfit by Flondo
If you wish to see more stunning outfits on hot men look here Magical World of Flondo!

As Torro tells us in his post, "If you are planning a masquerade and you're in search of some exotic inspiration, there are few artists around today who deliver the oriental and the theatrical with anything like the flair (and kink!) of Flondo."

Next time I am going to a masquerade I will for sure try this look.
