Scientists Find Female Penis in Nature

In desolate caves throughout Brazil live insects that copulate for days, the female's penetrating erectile organ sticking fast in a reluctant male's genital chamber until he offers a gift of nutritious semen. Neotrogla seems to be unique among species with reversed sex roles — with choosy males and aggressive, promiscuous females — in also having swapped anatomy, researchers report.

The insect Neotrogla was first described in 2010.

Entomologist Charles Lienhard at the Geneva Museum of Natural History in Switzerland recognized them as a new genus — and also as possessing unusual genitalia. The team's work describing the reproductive practices of four separate species of Neotrogla is published in Current Biology recently.

So first they took our pants and now they are starting to take our penises too, where will this end? Will the male gender become utterly redundant as time goes by?

Paradise Lost in SecondLife - The Follow Up

I promised you a follow up of my last post about Paradise Lost with pictures from the event.

This was the first time I had activated the Restrained Love feature in SecondLife and I am happy I did, although I was a bit hesitant about it. I didn't like the thought of anyone playing around with my avatar without being able to control it, but - as I told myself - I could always turn it off if I got offended.
Paradise Lost is an epic poem in blank verse by the 17th-century English poet John Milton (1608–1674). The first version, published in 1667, consisted of ten books with over ten thousand lines of verse. It is considered by critics to be Milton's major work, and helped solidify his reputation as one of the greatest English poets of his time.
The poem concerns the Biblical story of the Fall of Man: the temptation of Adam and Eve by the fallen angel Satan and their expulsion from the Garden of Eden.
(Wikipedia: Paradise Lost)
The original story has been adapted to SecondLife by the Basilique Performing Arts Company and set to the music of Mozart's Requiem. The director used some of the amazing attributes available in SecondLife to enhance the show and to include the spectators participation.

Lucifer is cast out of heaven and descends to earth

God the Father creates Adam and then Eve and places them in the Garden of Eden

The fall of Man as Eve consorts with the snake

Original sin, Adam and Eve fornicate

Adam and Eve are cast out from the Garden of Eden by God the Father

Mankind suffers

God the Father orders Abraham to build an arc and then sends the deluge

The Son of God is born

The Son of God on the road to Calvary to redeem the sins of Mankind

This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, one of my top ten in SecondLife ever!

Temporarily Home

I've been away for two days and am going away for two days again tomorrow morning, but I have this night at home. I have missed my man so much, so although I have only slept about ten hours total the last two nights, I simply had to come inworld to see and talk with my lover.

WOW! Paradise Lost in Second Life

My son Guyke gave Tomais and me an extremely early wedding anniversary present by inviting us to join him for the last performance of the Basilique Performing Arts Company in Second Life's production of John Milton's "Paradise Lost".

I took loads of pictures of this original, unique, sensational and totally amazing experience to the wonderful music of Mozart, but do not have time at the moment to blog them. Instead I will only give you a few pictures before and after the show.

Stay tuned for more pictures this coming weekend.

I give this production the score: ★ ★ ★ ★
I and Guyke ready to teleport to the venue
Waiting in line for the ban lines to be removed
Inside the venue, waiting for the performance to begin
Tomais and I saying good night after the show
Thank you so much for this wonderful present, Guykechen!
