Pull Your Thumbs Out, Beatrice!

A gunman has been prowling the streets of Malmö, the third largest town in Sweden, at night lately and has been shooting at immigrants. At least 15-18 immigrants are believed to have been shot by this particular person.

The Attorney General of Sweden, Mrs. Beatice Ask, claims "she is following the situation closely" and that she is "concerned".

Today the Mayor of Malmö, Mr. Ilmar Reepalu, in an opinion piece in Sydsvenskan - "Malmö has had enough" - made an excellent analysis and summary of the situation and placed the responsibility firmly and squarely on Mrs. Asks shoulders. Mayor Reepalu  concludes, in his article, that the rule of law cannot make exceptions for certain towns.The people of Malmö have had enough now and must get their sence of security back.

In my opinion Mayor Reepalu makes a a brilliant analysis and a splendid summary of the situation. (Actually I am a bit surprised, because I never agreed with the bugger before...)

The Sweden Democrat Party, the xenophobic option in Swedish politics, has of course already drawn its premature and simplified conclusions. which most of us can completely ignore because they are not based on any analysis, but on their ingrained hatred and contempt for everyone and everything that is not like themselves and think as they do.

It is time to step ut to the plate, Mrs. Ask, and start taking some action. As my Ars always said; 
"Actions speak louder than words!"

Second Norway - Two Years Today

We love them, we love them and we love them again and more.

We Swedes do like to make fun of them anyway, as they do with us. The problem is the Norwegian jokes about us are never that funny, but we still laugh politely.

I honestly think there are no sexier, sweeter or more charming people than the Norwegians anywhere in the worlds, both real and second life´s.

 Second Norway celebrates it´s second rezday in SecondLife today to which I would  like to say: Happy Rezday Second Norway!

To celebrate this wonderful day I give you an old classic from the early 1960s,"The Helmer Bryds Eminent Five Quartett" with their protest song about "Norway". (It should however be noted that the song was of course made long before the Norwegians found oil in the North Atlantic Ocean...)

Shocking Philip

I woke up in the middle of the night and went to my computer and there I found this shocking news on "The Second Life Blog". It´s an announcement posted by my favourite interim CEO Philip Linden on Oct 19, 2010 4:28:33 PM

"After about four months as interim CEO, working closely with Bob Komin, the management team, and the board, we've decided we are ready to start the search for a new CEO. I'll be leaving day-to-day management of the company and continuing in my role on the board, including helping in the search to find a great CEO. I will also be continuing my work with my new company, LoveMachine. Bob will lead Linden Lab while we conduct the search. It's been an intense few months of transition, and we all feel like we are in a better place now, with a clearer sense of direction and more focus, and are ready to bring someone new into the mix as a leader."

Philip, my darling Philip, how could you do this to me! I should think Bob is a great man, but I do not yet have the same trust in him as I have in you - and now you make the trust I placed in you seem totally misplaced.

My trust in Philip cam from him being "the original dreamer", than man who made my beautiful Second Life possible. I counted on him to understand who we - the day-to-day users experienced our world and what improvement and changes were necessary to make our experience better - more fast, fun ad easy.m I really do feel a bit betrayed, Philip, I also know the OutWorldzers and "Bastians" will ridicule me now for my belief and trust in you, that makes it even more heavy.

I don´t know Bob Komin at all, he really may be a perfectly decent guy, but I have no hopes stuck to him yet and no trust. I have to try sleep on this terrible news...

Swedish Blogger Arrested By Police

 

...but it wasn´t I, even if some people would wish it was! 

Unverified rumours say it is this blogger corruptio and the blogger has allegedly threatened a policeman. 

Some say the blogger is an ex-policeman, who has fired from the police and has since been condemned for some weapons-crimes.

The blogg  he has is said to mainly concern itself with "uncovering misdoings withing the police and defence forces.

The man is 43 years old and Lives in the town Landskrona with a wife and two children. The police have supposedly removed all the families computers for examination.
