Petr on Alts in SecondLife

I have been too preoccupied with other things the last couple of days, but now that I have passed through that cloud let me share a rare gem with ya'll.

This is a definite must-read from the elderly gentleman over in the corner, who has been observing for a long time how alts (i.e. alternate accounts) are sometimes used in SecondLife and now is in the mood to share his astute analysis and wisdom with us all, So listen up and take it all in!

Latin Dancing

Prrrrrr-ai-ai-ai-ai-ai-ai!

Yesterday I visited Big Momma's Ballroom at Pine Valley for some Latin ballroom dancing. As there were even couples when I arrived I brought in one of my alt's, Princess Hedda, to be my dance partner. She arrived barefoot as she had been culling the turnips at home, but we soon got her into some high-heels and the dancing of rumba, cha-cha and jive etc. could commence.

I much prefer dancing with my Tomais, because he takes care of changing the dances - as the natural born multitasker he is.
When Tomais arrived Princess Hedda was sent back to her turnips and I could relax and enjoy the dancing more as I left it to Tomais to deal with the changing of the dances that the bossy DJ Kahvy shouted out.

There´s A New Girl In-World

There is a new female avatar is SecondLife and I met her tonight for the first time.

Her name is Butchella DeVille and she is only two days old. She looks wonderful, stunning and really sharp! Exquisite taste always helps in creating an avatar and this girl can rely on one of the best.

Actually she has everything except shoes, which is how you would recognize her creator... smelly, bare feet (Butch has actually progressed to sandals lately. I am happy to say.)

Below you see today's gathering of male avatars with their newly created female alternate accounts (alts).

The amazing thing that happened is that I kept up my usual repeats in chat (sighhhhhhhh good old #01587329 is getting really tiresome), while Lady Cruella didn't repeat at all. As Butch told me, it cannot be my computer or my broadband causing this problem, it must be something else.
