Pride Month 2023

I promised my dear husband Tomais to post this great meme on this almost dead blog.

We are celebrating pride again, both in our first and second lives. We do it because we can, for those who cannot, and to aggravate the haters.

Happy Pride Month Everyone!

"No Vegetation" by JJ GoodmaNZ

"No Vegetation" by JJ GoodmaNZ
Today my consort Tomais, my bro JJ, and I were loafing on the beach by the summer palace. When JJ took this pic I named it "No Vegetation". Sheree will know why...

Happy New Year, 2021

I give thanks to the Babylonians, The Lincoln Project, my friends, and my relatively patient spouse Tomais for the fact that I survived 2020 without a total nervous breakdown.

Americans will never fully comprehend the importance of their country, and their chosen leaders have for the rest of the democratic world. When the U.S.A. is on the verge of a coup d'etat - lead by their president and his devoted minions, no less - we follow the developments closely and with trepidation.

But now, as we start a new year and there are only 19, 5 days until the next president is sworn in, I can start breathing more or less normally again,

I wish you all great happiness and success in 2021, May it be our best year ever, we certainly deserve it!

Flat Bock 2020 Is Here!

Ever since the Second Pride Festival 2015, Bock in SecondLife has offered its avid readers and loyal followers The Flat Bock cutout. This year is no different.

My loving art director and spouse, Tomais Ashdene, has excelled and created the raciest Flat Bock ever seen - yet...
The Flat Bock 2020 (censored version)by Tomais Ashdene
You can pick up your personal Flat Bock 2020 at my store at the Second Pride region.

Instructions for use: The Flat Bock is laminated with kevlar for your protection and to prevent staining. Rinse in lukewarm water and wipe clean after use/abuse. Not dishwasher safe. Do not place in microwave or dryer.

Much gratitude to Mr. Cayson Triellis for reminding me to post this on my blog.

Please note, the artifact has been censored here to comply with Bloggers and Facebooks bigoted rules. The complete product is NSFW and shows complete frontal and dorsal nudity.

The Great Centaur Gallery

The shapeshifting laird and his beloved Prince Consort Tomais Ashdene are now a part of The Great Centaur Gallery in the Flickr stream of Julala's (owner of Jinx).

Jinx is the brand that provides us with the centaur body attachments.

A Fun Project

Yesterday I was part of a fun project in recreating The Village People's "YMCA" in SecondLife in both a photograph and a video.

"Everyone Is A DJ..."

Ars, who himself was a DJ, often used to say "Everyone is a DJ in SecondLife!" As the years have gone by I have found that his assessment is close to the truth. Surprisingly many of my friends or acquaintances have on some occasions tried it.

Recently I learned that my friend Mirco, a.k.a. Schatzi by me, has a regular set every Saturday at The Midnight Museum region with music from the '80s. This evening I had the pleasure of being there.

Now I am eagerly awaiting the day that my sweet husband Tomais will inform me that he also wishes to start DJ-ing.

Visiting Mirromere

At the beginning of every month, for the last ten years, I go to Mirromere to visit with my late husband  Ars. Sometimes, my husband, Tomais comes with me, but mostly I am there alone.
"Satyr at Mirromere" by BMcM
Mirromere is a part of the Calas Galadhon Park, which consists of seven or eight regions. The park is owned, maintained and operated by Ty(mus) Tenk and his husband Truck Meredith. When Ars passed away in 2010 the men graciously offered to host the memorial service and a memorial place for two weeks I think it was, but my memories from that period. are unclear.

Once the big memorial place was removed a smaller and beautiful place was made. Ars, and later on Dej, have the honor of having a plaque there among other friends of the guys.

P.S. Here is the SLurl to the memorial site at Mirromere.

Hanging at JJ's & Wayne's Pool

After a bit of motorboating with Tomais, JJ, Wayne, and Lazurus ("Call me Laz" his profile says), we ended up at JJ's & Wayne's pool in there new home. We were joined by Petr,
Heads from left to right, Tomais, Petr, JJ, me, Wayne & Lazurus
Lots of fun and laughter while discussing everything between heaven and hell (both non-existent), some friendly bickering, and informing Laz about the great benefits of having a Premium Account. Among other things, you get into crowded regions easier, which is worth a lot. Between motorboating and the pool, I managed to get into Ûber and buy the fatpack of Deadwool's new jacket. Beautiful textures and colors, as usual, Masa Plympton is a wonderful designer.

New Header for Spring/Summer 2020

The blog's creative director, and my spouse, Tomais Ashdene has today supplied me with this wonderful new header for Spring/Summer 2020.
P.S. Yeah, the way I hold my cigarette is kinda girly, but we are using a female pose. When we tried changing it with the Animare HUD (a tool to adjust poses) it became even worse. So you should focus on the exceptional beauty of the two men instead.

Social Distancing In SecondLife

So what do four gay men, from different corners of the world, do when they are together in SecondLife, in these the end times when world events will reach a climax and we will either meet our makers to attain redemption or be sent straight to hell or perhaps just peter out into gaseous steam into the all-consuming universe?

Well, these four men listened to music, danced and played with the "It's Not All Mine"-Cum HUD for Men (link to SL-Marketplace).
The creator of this HUD must have had a lot of fun when they got this brilliant idea. The user can disperse their cum at a selected body part in or on someone else nearby. The cum only comes off with Linden water (i.e. stepping into it or taking a shower) or if someone licks or sucks it (choice also available in the HUD).

Self-Quarantine

When the news broke that Prince Albert II of Monaco had tested positive for the novel coronavirus, The Much Honored Bock McMillan, Laird of Southern Charm, immediately went into a voluntary self-quarantine.
"Bock in Quarantine" by JJ GoodmaNZ
The laird and the prince had been cavorting in Paris during the weekend, so the measure was taken out of an abundance of safety. Neither the laird, nor his Prince Consort, are - as yet - displaying any symptoms of Covid-19.

P.S. No alas I am not singing to entertain my neighbors, my consort will not allow me...

At Cape Dejerrity

Today, while I was waiting for my husband to log into SecondLife, I went for a walk around the home region and ended up at "Cape Dejerrity", which is what I call the hook of land where my late brother's parcel used to be.

The wind was howling and I felt alone while I reminisced about my obstinate, cantankerous, sentimental, loving and lovely brother. I miss him a lot and feel sad about his untimely death, especially the fact that he was all alone and probably frightened when he passed.

Lucky

Someone lucked-out in the partnering processes in SecondLife.

This is the laird's spouse "au naturelle", and what a pleasant sight it is.

As my dear man has taken up the mischief of disallowing downloads from his Flickr account this is a snipped picture, to see a better quality photo, please click his name in the caption.

Flying With Tomais

As I have told you all several times before the laird's spouse is an avid collector of transportation vessels of all kinds, but predominantly airplanes and sailboats. He never ever seems to have enough.

Besides collecting them he likes to use them, and it is a good way of relaxing for both him and the laird. Yesterday he was experimenting with a new flight HUD.

The LGBT+ Gateway to SecondLife Has Opened

It is with great pride I can now announce that the LGBT+ Gateway to SecondLife at SecondPride - after much delay - finally opened at the end of August 2019.

Newcomers who use that entryway will be dropped into the SL 101 learning area at Second Pride. The area is constructed as a building site that the new resident goes through to learn the basics of being a resident in SecondLife. The area was designed and built by Tomais Ashdene, my husband, and his daughter Kerowyn Kirke.

There is an entryway on the Second Pride website (url), but I will put one on this blog as well.

The blogs creative director has today supplied me with this fabulous and action-packed new header for Summer 2019. You may think it is a bit late, but we have both been tremendously busy with the Second Pride Festival.

If Bock Was A Doll...

If Bock was a doll, this is what his head would look like, according to the creative director of this blog,  His Royal Highness Tomais Ashdene, Prince Consort of Southern Charm & Duke of Erat.
Quite cute, don't you think?

The Chair's Opening Speech at Second Pride Festival

Lee McKay's, the Chair of Second Pride, speech at the opening of the Second Pride Festival yesterday.

"I promise I won’t interrupt the party for long! I want to thank everyone for coming out today for the opening of Second Pride 2019, and the debut of our newly redesigned Second Pride region. We hope you’re ready to have some fun and celebrate Pride!
We’re doing something different this year in that we now consider our region to be a permanent build that will remain in place for the foreseeable future. We are also a Second Life Gateway region and will soon have new people entering Second Life right through our own Gateway in the northeast corner of the region. I hope you’ll go check out the progress on that. It will be opening in the near future.
If you’re curious about how this build came to be, I was watching a video of Diana Ross performing in Central Park in 1983, and the shots of the park and the buildings in the background just looked and felt inspiring. I showed a really simple mockup of the idea to Bock and to his husband, Tomais, and within days, the building started, spurred on by a very generous donation of all these buildings in the Old NYC collection from Schultz Bros. We thank them for their generosity! This is a build that we want you to explore and enjoy. There are all sort of places to wander, stroll, sit, watch, meditate, reminisce, play, and just be. It’s a walking space, a place to take photos, bring friends, hang out, play games, and more. We will no longer be one or two events per year. We expect to have parties on a regular basis, starting soon.
This year, we are celebrating the 50-year anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, considered to be the catalyzing moment in the push for Gay Rights. With the current political climate and with our rights being slowly but methodically eroded from us once again, there is no better time for us to reflect on the events of that night and the nights that followed, and to consider the battles fought then, and the battles that are to come, because they are coming. We need to draw from the strength of the heroes of that night…Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, Storme DeLarverie (Stormy Delahveay), Danny Garvin, and so many others. We honor them for the stand they took that night, and we pledge to continue their fight.
