Introducing Bock 3.1

Following the suggestions of my dear friends Anonymous and Kandinsky I have decided on a hair without bangs - for the first time in about 8 years. I have also made a few changes to my eye opening and the eyebrows.

With a lot of help from my husband Tomais and my brother JJ I have also updated to the latest versions of the Niramyth Aesthetic body and the Aeros Magnus cock.

I am rather pleased with the results of all the abovementioned improvements to my appearance, especially the fact that I don't look so stern and forbidding anymore.

On "VPL" - Updated

My husband Tomais steadfastly insists that he is not funny, but I disagree completely. No man has ever before consistently made me laugh so often and so much as he does.

A couple of nights ago, while we were talking on Skype as usual, Tomais suddenly mentioned the abbreviation VPL, don't ask me how and why because the conversation leading up to it has been wiped off my teflon-memory.

Jon Hamm,
The King of VPL
My understanding and knowledge of the English language is quite good, even if I say so myself, but it is not my mother-tongue so there are still some unchartered areas that become apparent occasionally. VPL was one of those, I had never heard the expression before so I asked him what it meant.

Jon Hamm, a.k.a.
"The Rosetta Bulge"
"It means ´Visible Penis Line´", my darling told me with a serious voice, as I exploded with laughter.

Then as he continued telling me about the rules I almost croaked, "Underwear, bicycle pants or wet boxers don't count, because anyone can show a VPL in those outfits". (This means that my friend Kandinsky's favorite picture of a Polish bicycle team is out of the contest, see my previous post Re: Bicycle Pants.)

According to writer Christian Zamora at Buzzfeed, when he ranks The 21 Most Important Celebrity Bulges Of All Time: "All bulges are ranked and measured on a scale of zero to five Jon Hamm's. Each bulge [is] evaluated on its outline, girth, and prominence to determine its rank and the number of Hamm's it deserve[s]".

As far as I know there is no equivalent term for this phenomenon in the Swedish language, except possibly the Swedish words for "poseur", "indiscreet" or "show-off". That fact does however not mean that we haven't noticed the phenomenon before.

Update 2015-06-10
For those who want to see more VPL you should visit the Tumblr-blog "Visible Penis Line", although from what I could see at a quick glance most of the pictures posted seem to fall into the illegitimate category according to "Tomais Rule of VPL´s"

Snubbed Again!

"That tired old spiteful German tart, she has done it again!"

The Much Honored Bock McMillan, laird of Southern Charm, prince of Cascade Falls, Sovereign Ruler of the Commonwealth of Southern Enchantment Region and Outer Territories and finally UN appointed Protector of the Mount Whitney sim in SecondLife, has been frantically repeating that sentence all day, to anyone who cared to listen.

It is of course the lack of an invitation to today's Nobel prize ceremony and banquet that has upset the laird. He blames Silvia, the Queen of Sweden, and their long-lasting feud for being snubbed yet again.

This year the Commonwealth of Southern Charm even sent a delegation to the Nobel Prize Committee and the Royal Court of Sweden to ensure an invitation. Alas the mission was unsuccessful as no one could convince the queen to forgive the laird.

The Foreign Ministry of Southern Charm today summoned the Swedish Ambassador, her excellency Ms Kandinsky Beaumont, to meet with Wild Zepp, Minister of the Exterior, to inform her of the lairds great displeasure over this continued animosity and hostility.

For Blanche and the Swedish Cancer Fund

"Blanche" courtesy of Blanche Argus
Yesterday parts of the Swedish community in SecondLife came together to celebrate our dear friend +Blanche Argus, who for a very long time was a part of the core if the Swedish community, as a creator of many cultural events and also as well-known blogger with her blog Blanche's Arena.

Some months ago Blanche revealed to us all that she had been struck by cancer in her right eye and that, as she only has loco-motor vision on her left eye, this meant that she was virtually blind and could no longer enjoy +Second Life.

Yesterday there was an event to celebrate Blanche and what she had meant for us all and at the same time a fundraiser for the Swedish Cancer Fund (+Cancerfonden).

Blanche was with us through Skype and everything that was said in local was read to her by her first life sister, Second Renoir, or by Rultan Zeppelin, one of the event organizers.

Blanche spoke to all of us at length and told us about how she was presently doing and how much she missed SecondLife and the lovely people in it. Her love was duly returned and shared copiously, in a more substantial way, with the Swedish Cancer Fund. Everyone donated generously!

Meeting Millimina

My beloved sister in SecondLife Millimina Salamander and I have not met much during the last few months. We have had different schedules and both of us have also had first life commitments to deal with. We have kept in touch by occasional e-mails but it is still not quite the same thing.

During the time we haven't met much, Millimina and the other Swedes living on Solace Island were, with short notice as always, evicted when the owner decided to shut down that sim. Three of the refugees from Solace Island,  Millimina and two of my other Swedish friends Apmel Goosson and Kandinsky Beaumont, in that situation decided to get their own homestead - Mount Whitney - and share it between themselves.

Yesterday I got a surprising Instant Message from Milli, who was in-world to pay her share of the monthly tier before some "very important" football match (that's soccer for you Americans) started on television. She asked if she could come by to talk a little and see my new home. I of course gladly welcomed this possibility to meet her again, even if it was only a brief meeting.

As it always is with old close friends we quickly caught up with what had been going on with each others life's and I showed her my new chateau. She of course loved it thoroughly, she also completely supported my decision to make the change and was not at all surprised that I had finally reached the point of no return. It felt good to have her support in this matter as some of my friends have been worrying about my somewhat "dramatic" and "surprising" decision to tear down the old home I had had together with Ars and put up this new building in it's place.
After a tour of my new home we teleported over to her new place so that I could take a look at it. It was quite a change from the place Millimina had previously owned at Solace Island but I fell in love with it. You can follow what she is made of the new place on her blog "Magasin Millimina".
As opposed to many "hausfraus" or even silly gay men in SecondLife (read as me, myself and I) she has understood that one does not need a house with a bathroom, kitchen bedrooms etc. in SecondLife. You need a place you love that is designed after your own liking which you can use as a starting and ending point, entertain friends at and rez stuff in. She hired a wonderful and talented landscaper Kaja Lurra to work with her on her vision of a place based on the word "abandoned". It has become a wonderful little place in a run-down and deserted sort of way,
However, I am maintaining that Millimina has built a bedroom and all the other rooms in some of the many containers that are standing in her abandoned harbour, these are of course also where she has stored her vast collection of sex-gens. I don't care if she denies it, because thats my story and I am sticking to it!

Our meeting ended with reciprocal assurances that we must meet more often in the future and that we would invite the other to a housewarming part as soon as possible before Millimina had to log off to see that oh so important football match on television. She is a complete and utter sports freak!

Solace Island Goes Out with a Bang

It is sometimes said that "All good things must come to an end, the bad ones just go on forever". I always hated that expression and I do not believe it is true. However, some good things do sometimes come to an end and if that happens it is, in my not so humble opinion, better if it goes out with a bang and not a whimper.

Solace Island has, since it was first established as a Swedish stronghold in SecondLife in the early days, been an institution that for a very long time was only paralleled by the Swedish Embassy sims through the avatars that inhabited the place more than anything else. In later years another Swedish stronghold has grown up around Iendi Laville and her Yadkin sims.

The Swedish Embassy - alas - went out with a whimper through a bureaucratic decision and without any closing ceremonies whatsoever. Not so with Solace Island, the inhabitants would never allow that.

Yesterday Apmel Goosson, Kandinsky Beaumont and Millimina Salamander invited us all over to say goodbye to Solace Island with a huge bang. They were assisted in this by the performance artist Ms. SaveMe Oh, who made it a mission of mercy to see to it that it did not go unnoticed. She may have a heart after all, although I know many among the cultural elitists in SecondLife who would adamantly deny it.

When I first landed on the sim yesterday my graphic card was assaulted by an attack of white penises and other rubbish which made me think "Has the woman finally crossed the line into complete and utter madness?". As it turned out it was a griefer-attack by some pathetic soul who wanted to get back on the venerable and admittedly obnoxious Ms. Oh, but without her refinement.

Once the griefer had been dealt with those of us who were there had a wonderful time. SaveMe Oh put up a tremendous show and had us in the audience running from a white box to a black boxes through rows of onlooking donkeys (black box) or sheep (white box). If you happen to see an extremely manly shape hanging by one ankle under three balloons in the pictures below, that's me!

Thank you for the party dear family and friends Millimina, Apmel and Kandinsky.

I have been informed that you have made plans for a new home, but if there should be a delay in moving in please know that I would always be happy to offer a temporary home for the refugees from Solace Island on Southern Charm. I could always knock up a trailer park at the location where the barn is, if you do not want to sleep in the comfortable barn itself.

J'Accuse...!

I blame Apmel! It's all his fault!

I blame Apmel, for drawing the attention of the Linden Gods to the existence of Solace Island by his art installation of penises!
Evidence photo by Kandinsky Beaumont,
neighbor, victim, evicted,homeless person
I blame Apmel, for drawing the attention of the whole art community and LEA to the existence of Solace Island by his constant defense of the obnoxious performance artist SaveMe Oh!
M Linden and SaveMe Oh, photo by the obnoxious artist herself
I blame Apmel, for drawing the attention of the moral majority and all decent avatars in-world to Solace Island by constantly running around naked - not only at his home sim - but also at every major art event in SecondLife since the beginning of SLT.
CENSORED BY BLOGGER
Through the above mentioned actions and more I blame Apmel for causing the eviction of my sister Millimina, my friend Kandinsky and many more from the Solace Island sim. I can well understand the Linden Gods for finally losing their patience with Apmel and putting pressure on the sim owners to shut down the place.

Come to Solace Island (SLurl) today at 2 PM SLT, to help Millimina, Kandinsky and the others to pack up their stuff and to blame Apmel for causing this disaster!

It's all Apmel's fault!

Congratulations Kandi!

Today is the sixth rezday of Kandinsky Beaumont. Kandi is a dear friend, a wise lady with a sharp and lovely bite (when she needs it) and a talented and renowned artist in SecondLife.

I wish you all the best on your rezday and for the future, Kandi!

(Many thanks to my bosom buddy Apmel Goosson for the reminder.)

No Seduction & No Demonstration

This evening I logged into SecondLife with two options in mind, either to let myself be seduced by Ziggy Starsmith or to join Kandinsky Beaumont and Apmel Goosson in a demonstration at Burn against their oppressive rules and their terrible treatment of Kandinsky..

Well, as it turned out none of the three were inworld so I had to make alternative plans.

I decided to go to my friends Vampi Twine-DeSantis-McMillan-McMillan´s (honorary) and my Sergeant-at Arms sirhc DeSantis-McMillan´s club OrmDricka instead. The theme was black!

The Magic Garden was filled with good friends and I also hauled my brother Martial Eisenhart over with his new perky mesh-ass.

We had a blast with a lot of fun 70´s music (which was better than I imagined it could be)! That goes to show, you can have a good time even if things don´t work out as you planned.

Avatars Creating Art from Art

"I love to leave the interpretation of my music up to the listener. It's fun to see what they'll say it is."
Erykah Badu

The artist, SaveMe Oh
I don´t know how the artist SaveMe Oh feels about the quote above, neither do I care, because to me experiencing art has to be what it does to me, emotionally or intellectually whether that is what the artist intended or not. What the artist intended is not really - or not always - of any interest to me, more important is how the art affects me or if it leaves me indifferent.

So yesterday I ventured out from Southern Charm to experience the adventure that is SaveMe and the art she had created for me. Let me start off by telling you all that no anchovy, olives or even Dry Martini´s were served.

My dearest sister Millimina was there which made me very happy, because I have not seen her in a long time. Even if we were both busy running around in SaveMe´s installations and did not speak as much as we usually do it was a great comfort to have her there.

Now, without further ado, here is my interpretation. I am going to show you parts of the exhibition yesterday. I have chosen to give you a series of pictures I took in random order. In the captions to each picture I have written a few words, thoughts or statements. By stepping into the installations we became part of it and changed it, for ourselves and for the onlookers.

For more pictures - and a different experience - please visit my buddy Apmel Goosson´s blog post Min avatar heter Apmel; Oh: Confusion is the healthy soil on which creativity grows

Afterthought. Rereading what I have written I am stuck by the gloominess, but I actually had a great time and lots of fun yesterday!

"I want a divorce!"
The mother in-law arrives
Alone in a room full of people
"How did we get here?"
Poison or despair?
The harbinger of death
"I have nothing to say"
"It is time to leave"
Booze helps - sometimes

Out on the town
Alone, at last

"What a wonderful day, I am happy but tired"
At dawn after a sleepless night
"I will always love her" he thinks to himself

Hop On Hop Oh

Yesterday I got an invitation to "join a daring art walk into exclusive goals" by my friend Kandinsky Beaumont, the famous SecondLife artist and art curator. For your information, Kandinsky recently received a well deserved invitation to participate with her art in this years Burning Man event.

Sundays event starts at 1 PM SLT at Solace Island (SLurl to the event)

The curators wish to make the general public (and especially all overly sensitive art lovers) aware of the fact that Ms SaveMe Oh is the exhibiting artist and also hosts tonight's event so they cannot ban her from the event today.

(As those who follow the art scene in SecondLife already know, my client the notorious Ms. SaveMe Oh is the most banned and kicked-out avatar in existence in SecondLife today, with the possible exception of my bosom buddy Mr. Apmel Goosson.)

RECOMMENDED READING
The curators recommend the honored guests to read and bear in mind the following three things before attending this adventure:

1. Dry Martini – “The Elixir of Quietude”
2. La primera anchoa cantábrica de 2012, en la XX edición de Eating Madrid
3. The Good Food, Glossary - Olive

This should be a lot of fun, I hope to see you all there!

Experiencing Returned

How we feel about art or artistic experiences is something deeply personal and is sometimes difficult to explain. I am not at all an art connoisseur, one who understands the details, technique, or principles of an art and neither am I competent to judge it, other than on my very own personal behalf. However, I know if I like it or if I don´t, if it talks to me in my present mood or if it leaves completely numb and unmoved.

My esteem of the art may vary to some degree with my own personal circumstances, with the music played or sometimes even with my thoughts before going to the exhibition.

I met with the gallery owner, my friend, Kandinsky Beaumont and my buddy Apmel Goosson at the entrance to the gallery. We exchanged a few niceties but then I wanted to go inside, so I walked away from them into the gallery.

My first sight was baffling, there was art on every wall, all the floor and in the ceiling also.

Everything was covered with Returned´s art, and when I walked into the gallery the music hit me also, a strange primordial thumping with a calming effect. I started feeling a thrill deep down inside and knew I was going to have a good time.

The first thing that caught my eyes immediately after that was a group of avatars consisting of the artist Returned himself and "his family" on display, their bodies naked and their positions frozen in time. The woman has her head in her hands and is obviously weeping.

Although I had taken more pictures at this event than on an other I have been to in SecondLife (more than 50) when I started writing this post I decided that I would include only a few of the artwork here, just enough so that you might also get interested and go there to see it and experience it all.

At an exhibition it is all about oneself and the art work, I don´t worry about what the artist may and may not want me to think. I found the exhibition extremely touching and with a childlike quality that moved me. It was a childish egomaniac with a very fragmented view of himself and his experiences in life and with his relatives, alone with his own actions, reactions, thoughts and feelings. He sees no connections, it´s all random for him and inscrutable. He also shows a very childlike honesty and has no defenses, what you see is what you get. There is beauty in his ugliness, in his huge eyes, and long limbs with enormous hands and feet. No pretense , no airs, no disguise or clothes, he lays it all bare for the on-looker and asks only for kindness.

Towards the end, the artist and "his family" joined us on and danced, surrounded bu the rest of the artwork everywhere.

A big part of the glitterati of the SecondLife art establishment was there, among them the infamous SaveMe Oh. I enjoy trying to tease her a lot but the woman gives and takes abuse with the same humor. It is quite impossible not to respect someone who can do that.

Lastly I show you a picture of Millimina Salamander and myself dancing. The naughty woman had put on a soccer top to tease me, but she looked lovely so I did not care.
I left the opening happy and grateful for the experience when a few of the other artists started doing their own thing, probably with the acceptance of Returned and Kandinsky but it irritated me and spoiled some of the experience for me. I wonder what they themselves would have felt if another artist had started doing his thing at their opening.

It is most likely something they usually do because no one else seemed to mind, I guess I was just feeling overprotective of Returned.
