Pair of Photos - A Photography Exhibition

When my ex-wife Iendi Laville, after the tragic annulment of our marriage, moved on to straight men she happened to stumble over the gorgeous Holy Archer (but only after I had pointed him out for her - or so I like to tell them both). It was a match made in the SecondLife heavens and the two are one of the loveliest couples I know.

They soon discovered that they both had a passion for photography in first life. When they compared their individual pictures they found some striking similarities between their works and as they looked further and deeper they found even more. The coupled photography of their combined work will now be exhibited together at Aake Roffo's art gallery on the Yadkin sim (SLurl).

The exhibition opens tomorrow, Monday September 23, 2013, at 12:00PM SLT, and continues until the end of October.

All the photography can be bought for 0 (zero) L$, but any contribution to the Relay For Life kiosk at the gallery is encouraged and welcomed.

Among My Countrymen

This evening I went visiting in the Swedish community in SecondLife, the reason for this nowadays rare venture was that Bara Jonson and Free Balan were performing a benefit live gig for Relay For Life at my friend Apollon Allen's bar, which is located on my ex-wife Iendi Laville's sim Yadkin.
The place was packed and I thought I had never seen so many Swedish avatars in the same place for a long time, but someone said that it wasn't much busier than a regular Friday evening.

For a long time after Ars had passed away, I sought refuge among the Swedes, where I felt safe and protected, which I was extremely grateful for and needed badly at the time. They involved me in all sorts of activities to keep me from brooding. They also responded kindly to and took part in some of my crazy projects, most notably the "Nakna avatarer i SL" ("Nude Avatars in SL") blog project. I think I had well over 100 entries where the Swedes dropped their clothing and sent me their wonderful and imaginative nudie-pictures for publication. I still have many friends among them although my visits are not as frequent these days.
I danced with Jasmine most of the evening, which was a pleasure, apart from the obvious fact that we looked great dancing together.

It was a fun evening and I had a very good time seeing and talking with friends I had not been in touch with for some time. People were generous to the cause, which made it even better.

Celebrating "The Evil Twins"

My ex-missus Iendi Laville and our mutual friend Selma Edman share the same birthday in first life. When the two women are together you n--e-v-e-r know what will happen. They bring out the absolute worst in each other - in an amusing way - so they have therefor rightfully named themselves "The Evil Twins".
Posing with the birthday girls
Today a good part of the Swedish inhabitants of SecondLife and a few of the Dutch (Butch Diavolo), Belgians (Guyke Lundquist) and Canadians (Ziggy Starsmith) also came together at the Grenouille Inn to celebrate their birthday.

The two girls boyfriends were there also. I must truthfully say that the two women have excellent taste, both Holy Archer and Sev Laval are stunning men even if they happen to be straight. Most stunning and breathtaking was however the always amazing Apmel Goosson

Unfortunately I did not get a picture of Apmel or any of the others because I suddenly noticed the bulge Apmel was toting in his swimwear this evening. I swear it looked like a good sized anaconda! I am not a size-queen ordinarily, but that sight totally took my breath away and left me completely dazed.

I am hoping that some of the others present at the party have taken more pictures that I can link to, hopefully some of them will show Apmel.

Solace Island Goes Out with a Bang

It is sometimes said that "All good things must come to an end, the bad ones just go on forever". I always hated that expression and I do not believe it is true. However, some good things do sometimes come to an end and if that happens it is, in my not so humble opinion, better if it goes out with a bang and not a whimper.

Solace Island has, since it was first established as a Swedish stronghold in SecondLife in the early days, been an institution that for a very long time was only paralleled by the Swedish Embassy sims through the avatars that inhabited the place more than anything else. In later years another Swedish stronghold has grown up around Iendi Laville and her Yadkin sims.

The Swedish Embassy - alas - went out with a whimper through a bureaucratic decision and without any closing ceremonies whatsoever. Not so with Solace Island, the inhabitants would never allow that.

Yesterday Apmel Goosson, Kandinsky Beaumont and Millimina Salamander invited us all over to say goodbye to Solace Island with a huge bang. They were assisted in this by the performance artist Ms. SaveMe Oh, who made it a mission of mercy to see to it that it did not go unnoticed. She may have a heart after all, although I know many among the cultural elitists in SecondLife who would adamantly deny it.

When I first landed on the sim yesterday my graphic card was assaulted by an attack of white penises and other rubbish which made me think "Has the woman finally crossed the line into complete and utter madness?". As it turned out it was a griefer-attack by some pathetic soul who wanted to get back on the venerable and admittedly obnoxious Ms. Oh, but without her refinement.

Once the griefer had been dealt with those of us who were there had a wonderful time. SaveMe Oh put up a tremendous show and had us in the audience running from a white box to a black boxes through rows of onlooking donkeys (black box) or sheep (white box). If you happen to see an extremely manly shape hanging by one ankle under three balloons in the pictures below, that's me!

Thank you for the party dear family and friends Millimina, Apmel and Kandinsky.

I have been informed that you have made plans for a new home, but if there should be a delay in moving in please know that I would always be happy to offer a temporary home for the refugees from Solace Island on Southern Charm. I could always knock up a trailer park at the location where the barn is, if you do not want to sleep in the comfortable barn itself.

Personal Message to Iendi

Dearest ex-missus Iendi,
I have been trying all evening to listen to the interview you did with me yesterday, but I cannot get it to work.
First i tried clicking the link in your archives, but nothing happened except I got an "Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to transistorn.dyndns.info:8000".
Then I tried copying the link http://transistorn.dyndns.info:8000/content/nyfikenbock.pls and pasting it into my Winamp-player, but that did not work either.
At your suggestion I downloaded the VLC media player and tried the same link, that's when I got the lower message in the picture above.
Lastly I tried changing the file-type from .pls to .mp3 (http://transistorn.dyndns.info:8000/content/nyfikenbock.mp3) as you suggested in the offline message I just received, but that did not work either, as you can see from the upper message in the picture above.
I a giving up for the night, but I am actually starting to believe that I must have said something so terrible that destiny is trying to protect me from listening to it.
Yours truly,
Bock
P.S. Did Holy tell you that I had a serious talk with him yesterday?

My Radio Interview

Recently my ex-missus (from the April Fools Day prank) Iendi Laville asked me if I would consider being interviewed on her weekly radio show on her radio channel Iendi's Transistor in SecondLife.

After thinking about it for a moment I happily accepted.  We agreed to do it live and without any limitations as to which questions could be asked by Iendi or the audience. As I told Iendi, "I am a big boy, if I do not like or wish to answer a particular question I will say so when it is asked."
My sister Millimina Salamander and my buddy Apmel Ibetsson came to give me support
The interview started at 12 PM SLT today and lasted for approximately an hour, but the time passed extremely fast. I am not quite sure how it went really, but Iendi and I had a good time talking although I can hardly remember what we talked about. I will have to listen to it when Iendi posts it on the radio's blog, Iendis Transistor..The interview was in Swedish so I am afraid most of you will not understand much of it.
After the interview I danced with Blanche Argus
with Holy Archer looking on in the background

On the Raft

Sunday didn´t get a good start for me in SecondLife. I crashed six times within an hour and ended up at tele hubs three times when I tried logging in to home, so when I finally could log in to Southern Charm I decided to scratch my plans of going to Grenouille Inn to listen to my ex-missus Iendi Laville´s regular Sunday radio show and instead  find a calm spot and stay there awhile to think about the evening before.

During the crash period, I had unsuccessfully tried to carry on a conversation with my BIL (brother in-law Andrey Messmer), but it seemed like the instant messages kept getting stuck. When I finally got back and could actually stay in, I could no longer see him inworld.

Yesterday one of my friends tried to pick a fight with me, why I did not understand. Whatever I said to him was met by a snarky comeback. I do not mind fights, in fact sometimes I find them rather refreshing, but I was not in the mood for one last night. So telling him I was tired and going to bed I logged off leaving him there to nurture his bad mood in whatever way he could find. While floating around on my raft today I thought through what had happened and came to some kind of vague plan of action.

As I was going to leave I was hailed by one of my newest family members, Fabiano Dover, we had a pleasant conversation about the relaunching of his blog (Heart Break Ridge) and the interesting subject of secrets. It was good he had stopped me when he did, because I was much calmer when I finally logged off for my afternoon nap.

She Made Me Proud

Art by John Bauer

This evening I listened to a  podcast that I have had difficulty listening to before. but after a long time of fiddling around with the settings of the firewall. I finally got it to work just before the program I wanted to listen to started.

The program was of course "Jändi är arg" (Iendi is angry) on Iendi´s Transistor. I have followed the origins of the discussions that lead up to the radio program, but have not really taken part much.

Iendi was - as always - calm, cool and collected throughout the radio show, however angry she claims to have been it did not shine through in the least during the program. She answered all the personal attacks on her by trolls and drama queens of both sexes and big-busted and small-minded valkyrias.

I am proud to have Iendi Laville as my fiend! Never take their shit to heart, my darling ex-missus for a day!

I Created A Monster

Iendi before that fateful day
Do you guys remember my wife for a daym Mrs. Iendi Laville (McMillan)? That sweet, innocent, demure and  charming young woman who seemed to have been raised by in a convent somewhere?

Well it seems something has happened with that beautiful, soft spoken and tolerant woman since our marriage and our quick divorce.

You may also remember she ditched me the day after the wedding and had the marriage annulled for a gorgeous guy named Holyarcher. Admittedly he had the advantage on me of being both heterosexual and good looking but still, one would at least expect some kind of communication before blurting it out on her blog, would that really have been to much to ask?.

Anyway it now seems our short time together may have had some unknown effects, Two days in a row now this wonderful woman, my ex-wife, speaks her mind and tell off the parts of the Swedish community that need it. OK, I better not take too much credit for it, that woman always had great potential and being safe in Holy´s arms may just have done the trick.

Go get the bullies, Iendi!

Unscheduled Events

Yesterdays main event in SecondLife was going to be my first prom, but things happen and I ended up doing so much more.

It all started going off the well planned track when my brother in-laws Dejerrity Mycron and Jeb Nicholls came over to bring me to Dej´s parcel at the Southwest (please note I got it right this time) corner of the sim. They had been landscaping and decorating and wanted to show me what they had achieved so far.

Even if they both claim they are not done yet and that there is a lot of texturizing remaining, the spot already looks wonderful.
We sat there together at the camp fire for a good while talking about everything between heaven and earth, men (of course), life and loves, my chest hair (too little according to them both), how long Dej can keep a computer in working condition (he just got a newer one after eight years), earlier building projects they had been involved in (The Damocles Project and Ghoul Prison), how Jeb could fuel the Peoples Republic of China by daily flossing and about Ars (of course).
Time passes very fast when you are happy and when we were done covering the essentials I discovered I had already missed the Euro prom, so I had four hours to kill.before the American prom party started.

My buddy Butch Diavolo was doing an impromptu set at the Sanctuary, he always does that when he knows I am busy with other stuff. However, I was able to drop in for the last 30 minutes of his set and had a great time with great music and hilarious chat. Butch is a motormouth who is able to pull up the wittiest remarks at the drop of a hat.

I took a meal break after Butch´s set and was then called by my ex-missus for-a-day, Iendi Laville, to my buddy Apollon Allen´s jetty. Apollon was playing music for the gathered crowd (mostly Swedes) while they were dancing or enjoying the Jacuzzi.
Let me just give you a warning here.

All straight men are not avers to giving you a good time in a Jacuzzi. Ethon Sands has wandering feet that are wonderfully soft and flexible. I am not sure if he was playing with others under the water too or if they were just mocking me when they all started repeating "Ooooooooo Ethoooooon, it feels so good!"

Finally the time came to get ready for the American prom, so I reluctantly got out of the tub with the memories of Ethon´s feet still lingering on my mind.

By the time I got to the prom the party was well on it´s way and people were having a good time. I was too tired to take pictures but thoroughly enjoyed myself for an hour before leaving for bed at 4 AM my time. Avacar Bluestar was DJ-ing (the first time I heard him) to our enjoyment. Beautiful Kharissa Indigo and sexy  and notorious Ryce Skywalker were there among a whole lot of other sexy men and pleasant women.

Oh, you may be wondering if I did get a date to bring me to the prom. No such luck I am afraid, although I did try to entice the studelicious Ziggy Starsmith over with a blind teleport (He absolutely loves them!), but he was at another party and "couldn't come" (Have you ever heard a lamer excuse when being invited to a party by a sexy blond Swede,I ask?), or so he claimed.

Men, you cannot live with them, nor without them! All the same, I had a great Friday evening and early night, and have left out a lot of what happened being the soul of discretion that I am known to be.

Elvis, Rock-n-Roll and I

My ex-wife-for-a-day Iendi Laville threw a rock themed party at her establishment The Grenouille Inn (nowadays mostly called The Frog) last evening, which I of course had to go to.

Preparing for the party I found that the only really 50s-60s themed object I remembered having in my vast Inventory were my Buddy Holly glasses with tape across the middle. When I saw Apollon Allen I remembered my panel shirts too, but by then I was already dancing.

The old place was completely redecorated for the occasion by Iendi and her staff, Mrs. Svessa Hax-Beornsen, Mrs. Annabella Lundqvist and Mr. Lelle Kidd. The place looked awesome and supplied the best animations for rock-n-roll dancing I have ever encountered in SecondLife. (Note-to-self, don´t forget to ask Annabella where she got those animations!)
Bock and Elvis/Apollon
As chance would have it I ended up dancing with an Elvis look-alike in the shape of my old friend Apollon with great moves while the ex-missus threw herself at one of her unsuspecting tenants, a gorgeous looking stud named Holy (I cannot recall his last name but I  think it is Charger or something like it) - who turned out to have a few good moves of his own.

Music was supplied with style and flourish by this evenings DJ, Ms. Betty Idler.

Time for some party pictures!
