Who Dat Man?

"Who dat man?", I hear strangers whispering as I float past them with my newly strengthened self esteem and the buzz of winning convincingly still coursing through my veins.

"Why, that is The Much Honored Bock McMillan, laird of Southern Charm etc., etc.. The laird just returned from a tournament of mahjong, where he resoundedly beat the crap out of his friends, while still maintaining a humble and benign appearance.", they tell their friends.

"He has today actually taken on the new title of 'The Most Gracious Emperor of China', believe it or not!"

Mahjong Madness

This Saturday I am going to submerge myself into complete and utter Mahjong madness with three friends.

We are checking into a quiet hotel in the countryside to start playing at 1PM local time and then go on until we are finished, which probably will be early Sunday morning. There will only be short breaks while the tiles are shuffled and dealt and one longer break for a three course dinner with wine.

I love board games and I absolutely hate losing when I play them... So, the weekend can turn out as a wonderful time or the worst day in my life (Well, maybe not quite but surely close to it.).

Keep your fingers crossed for me, please!

Sometimes we encounter loaded questions like that in our lives and we must learn to handle them properly.

A simple "yes" or "no" will not suffice, nor should we ever go the Al Bundy way, who when his wife Peggy once asked him "Does this dress make me look fat?" responded "No, honey. It’s not the dress that makes you look fat. It’s the FAT that makes you look fat."

My recommendation is to always keep it honest.

So when I was posed the question in the post title by my lover yesterday I told him wit the utmost sincerity and honesty, "No, babe, your ass always looks perfectly bodacious and perky. No trousers can ever ruin the way it looks!"

JoeMyGod today shares a post with us entitled STUDY: Prevalence Of Homosexuality Has Been Stable Throughout Time Because Heteros Carry The Gene.

The story comes via Science Daily: Prevalence of homosexuality in men is stable throughout time since many carry the genes: 

"Around half of all heterosexual men and women potentially carry so-called homosexuality genes that are passed on from one generation to the next. This has helped homosexuality to be present among humans throughout history and in all cultures, even though homosexual men normally do not have many descendants who can directly inherit their genes.

This idea is reported by Giorgi Chaladze of the Ilia State University in Georgia, and published in Springer’s journal Archives of Sexual Behavior. Chaladze used a computational model that, among others, includes aspects of heredity and the tendency of homosexual men to come from larger families."
