I've learned a new expression, "a New York Minute", which is supposedly defined as the smallest measurable amount of time in the universe. The time lapse is approximately equal to the time between a traffic light turning green in New York City and the cab driver behind you honking his horn.

This reminds me of a take-off of an old New York joke. There was a wealthy tourist from Texas wearing cowboy boots and a "MAGA" cap who was lost in Manhattan and quickly learned the definition of a New York minute when he stopped workers in the Wall Street area and politely asked "Excuse me Sir! Can you please tell me how to get to the Trump Hotel or should I just go screw myself?"
