Congratulations to Benja Aquila's Blog

My friend Benja Aquila's blog today exceeded more than 200,000 pageviews.

It is important for every blogger to know that people reads and likes one's blog and comes back for more, again and again and again! There is no better proof of that than soaring numbers of pageviews.

Congratulations to rounding the 200,000 pageviews mark Benja Aquila's blog and may there be many, many more in the years to come!

OhioMike's Kilt Party

Tuesday evening (4-6 PM SLT) it was time for OhioMike's Kilt Party at the Second Pride Festival with Mike's hubby Hotboy as DJ, of course. I simply had to go, because - as everyone who knows me knows - I love tartan's and firmly believe that there isn't anything sexier than a man in tartan.

At a tartan party it is proper and fitting to come in your tartan, naked or splashed in colors. (Bear suits are acceptable if the person is completely covered in the skin.) Coming to a tartan party in anything except the three options mentioned is a social blunder of a magnitude equivalent to showing up at a royal wedding in dirty jeans and a torn t-shirt. Special dispensation for faux pas' from the rule are given to
1) Americans
2) Stunning beauties
3) Extreme youth and
4) Diagnosed idiots.

The venue was full of hunky men and a few women when I arrived. The music was loud and good, the DJ was loud and the crowd was loud, lewd and fun.
Benja & Ryce (Special dispensation by points 1 and 2 of the rules)
Benja being a Spaniard should know better, but his beauty saves him once again
Petr, Ty & Vaan
Myself and Marcellias
An unknown beautiful American man (Special dispensation by points 1 and 2 of the rules)
Please note! The party was open to everyone, in kilt or not. I just made up the rules and special dispensations to tease my friends Ryce and Benja.

At the Opening of "Viva l'Italia"

I was invited to the opening of my friend Eddi Haskell´s photo-exhibition "Viva l'Italia" today. my son Guyke accompanied me to.the opening, partly because I always like to hang with him, partly as my chaperon to keep me out of trouble.

We were a little late in arriving because we had wasted a lot of time getting dressed. After starting out in full gala with tuxedos that could have fit in well at the royal wedding in Stockholm today, we dressed down until we were in extremely casual attire.

When we arrived the party had already filled up with a host of beautiful men and some women. Mikedacook "Mikey" Dinzeo was the DJ of the evening. I enjoyed his music thoroughly while talking with Guyke in voice and the other guests in local or Instant Message, all the while hungrily looking at the men at the venue - one in particular whom I will spare the embarrassment of being mentioned here.

Many of my buddies or long time acquaintances were at the party like Eddi and Benja, Garth and Mitch, Rico and Avacar, Mikey's partner Robin, Judas, Mattias, Khar and Christo,.but also many men and women that I did not know - yet

All in all, I had a great time, enjoying the beautiful photographs, the great music and the pleasant conversation. .

I and my favorite among the beautiful photographs
Brent (I was to distracted by his hotness to catch his last name), a
mysterious and silent stranger with a sexy avatar. I noticed he had rezzed
in 2009, which means he is  like 15-20 years younger than myself
My buddy Christo Spyker.
What is this thing with Dutch men and their bare feet, I wonder?

The exhibition will continue until the end of June, I highly recommend you pay it a visit at The Eddi Haskell Gallery (SLurl)

The Wedding of Benja & Ryce 3/23/2013

It's a bit late to publish these pictures from Benja's and Ryce's wedding last Friday, but I blame it on my Philip-flu. Please enjoy!
The guests gathered and we were all handled a candle when we arrived
The master of ceremonies Aeschylus Shepherd and the best men
When the happy couple has joined the rest of the wedding party under the tabernacle the ceremonies could begin
The wedding guests listening to the guys as they exchange their marriage vows, Benja's  list was short and sweet while Ryce's liste went on for a good while (although one of his vows was not to overwhelm Benja - and everyone else, I am sure - with his excellent typing capacity).
One of the sexier guests listening attentively to Ryce's vows.
More guests are dumbstruck by Ryce's speed typing,
especially the fact that it was free of typos.
After the wedding ceremony we moved into the ballroom of the castle for music, dance and cutting of cakes and much much more - for those who were feeling well enough to stay until the end..
The grooms are cutting the wedding cake.

Kharissa and I kept on dancing until I had to leave when my fever spiked,
we sure looked wonderful together

Knocked Out by the 4th Flu

Sweden has had four different flu-strains this winter which have been wrecking havoc among the population. I have already gone through three of them and was hoping that i would be lucky enough to avoid the fourth one.

Not so, while I was setting my auto-response message on my email at work on Friday - as I am taking a vacation until the Easter holidays - I felt my throat going all sore, the fever mounting in my delicious body and aches starting absolutely everywhere in my body, from head to feet and effecting every organ in between.

I managed to drop in at Benja's and Ryce's wedding yesterday and stay for a short while during the reception afterwards but then I was completely exhausted and had to crash into bed. '

I am blaming the weakness of my immune system on Philip Linden for the shocking news that he has deserted me into the hands of people I do not know or trust, with the possible exception of Mitch Kapor..

There will be no posts for a while until I feel much better! Take care all my darlings  and hope to see you soon!

Bock - The Party Man

First I stopped in at The Sanctuary for some great trance music with a DJ I had never listened to before, Nelopelou McKeenan. She played awesome music for us.

Next stop was The Bunker where an old friend and compatriot of mine Missy (formerly known as Miss K) was DJ-ing. I had never heard her DJ before so that was a good experience also.
The last stop of the evening was at the Naked Field Party with my friend DJ Avacar. It was a great idea to have a naked party in a field.

At the party I met a lot of friends, some of whom I had not see in a very long time. Aside from the DJ Avacar and his hubby Rico, we were joined by Ryce Skytower-Aquila, Benja Aquila-Skytower, Jeff Ellsworth and Joeh Acker and a bunch of other hot men..
Through it all i was chatting with Dej, who had planned a pleasurable afternoon for himself which was  constantly interrupted by his noisy fat assed neighbor and her maid. Well, at least he got his afternoon drink without interruptions!

Swedish SecondLife Resident Honored

Billy bookcase birch veneer
Every month my buddy Benja Aquila elects a "LGBT Second Life Resident of the Month" on his blog Benja Aquila's Second Life.

This month he has elected a person with the following characteristics:

  • Charming (Yup, must be Apmel!)
  • Swedish (Apmel, definitely!)
  • Man (Apmel is ALL man, for sure!)
  • Famous blogger (Absolutely Apmel!)
  • Friendly (Apmel again!)
  • Patient (Oh yes Apmel for sure!)
  • A very good conversationalist (Apmel! Apmel! Apmel!)
  • Multifaceted (No one has more facets than my sweet buddy Apmel!)
  • Successful blog (Hell yeah, Apmelito!)
and
  • A better ambassador for Sweden than IKEA. (Ab-so-f**king-lu-tely, it can only be Apmel)
The only thing that confused me was "LGBT"so my first thought when I saw the list was, "Ah I have always suspected that my bosom-buddy Apmel was a closet case and now he finally see´s fit to come out, but why did he choose to do it on Benja´s blog? Sure, he is truly deserving of any honor he gets, but isn't he already more famous than the Billy bookcase or even IKEA itself?"

Go to Benja´s blog Benja Aquila's Second Life and tell him how offended you are by his oversight of appointing someone other than Apmel Goosson this month! Even if the man isn't LGBT, he could be gay-for-pay or honorary gay or something like that...

(P.S. Thank you, dearest Benja! XOXOXO)

Miss Wigstock 2013 - The Fabulous Event

As a veteran in SecondLife I know that some events you go to an hour before they start if you want to get in at all. The annual Miss Wigstock contest at Gay Riviera is one of those events.

So I was ready to go at 11 AM SLT while Butchella DeVille, mon compagnon à la fête, was still sauntering around in some stunning casual attire. I admonished her strongly and told her that I would go ahead and she should call out when she was ready.

As I arrived at the Theater on the Hill at Gay Riviera I saw all the green dots indicating other clever avatars who had learned their lesson. Luckily Butchella is a fast dresser for a gay man. She actually does it in half-speed compared to the tempo in which she runs her mouth but it was fast enough and we squeezed her big ass in before the sim was full.

I was heading for a humble seat among the dazzling glitterati of the SLebrities that had assembled at the theater this evening, but Butchella called me back and told me she had found two empty seats suitable for us.
It was in the royal box no less. I told her that OK we could sit there for a while but we should expect to be ousted from the best seats in the house when the top brass arrived.

As I had seen on the mini-map the beautiful theater was already filled with the most dazzling, studly and fabulous avatars.
...but I and Butchella had the best seats in the place in the place, in the two center seats of the royal box. To my right was a sweet but silent man named Rob Colter and to Butchella´s left was the famous Hotboy Lockjaw.
Butchella and I settled in our chairs fit for queens and started to relax and feel cosy and happy to have arrived in time and gotten such splendid seats, with a good view of the stage and all of the audience. Poor Rob almost had his view of the stage blocked by mt gown, but as I said he was sweet but silent so he never said a bad word about it, a real gentleman I am sure. Butchella told me we both looked too fabulous because we were almost  certain to outshine the contestants.
When Butchella said that I just had to show her how stylish we looked with our feet sticking through the floor.
We started looking around to see who was there and here are some SLebrities we spotted.
Eddi Haskell, (blogger, photographer, fashion guru and all round good guy)
with his alts partner Benja Aquila (blogger and a very pleasant new friend).
Ricogenu with his partner Avacar, owners of Gay Fun World,
with a to me unknown beauty
Our hosts for the evening Mitch and Garth Underhill-Raleigh
Oppps, this is of me, Butchella and Hotboy again, but its
too much of a hassle  to rearrange so I will leave it here
Frolic Mills of BOSL
Ohiomike Lockjaw with Oliver Elton and Othon Weiland
MC Queen Edman, dressed in a tux for once, with the female MC,
whose name has unfortunately slipped my mind at the moment.
The Winner and Miss Wigstock 2013
Juve Wheelwright
First runner up,
Silvano Korobase
Jean Marc, which was the performer that I had as winner
Hotboy in his wonderful interpretation of
Lady Gaga´s "Born This Way"
After the prize ceremonies there was a dance. Butchella and I joined for a while but we soon realized it was close to midnight in Europe and we had to leave to crawl to bed. Happy after a fabulous and magical evening.
