Come Celebrate the Newlyweds

Knox & Pook, photo courtesy of Bre Czaroux
Knox Dee, the Duke of Madeira, has been skulking around on Southern Charm quite a lot lately, At first I wondered what the strong attraction could be on our small sim, but I soon realized it must be my beautiful son Pook Czaroux, the Crown Prince of Southern Charm.

The guys have chosen to take the joint surname De'Roux.

A while back the extremely well mannered young man (he has been to a finishing school in Switzerland) contacted me and the other three of Pook's fathers (my consort Tomais and Bre and Eric Czaroux) to request our blessings and support in asking for our sons hand in marriage. Of course all four of us were delighted to acquiesce.

The boys didn't want to wait for a big formal wedding so - following two of Pook's fathers example - they eloped and got the ceremony over with at some registrar's office so they could at long last give in to their lust for each other.

This afternoon, Saturday March 12, 2016, at 2-4PM SLT there will be a celebration of the newlyweds marriage union at Southern Charm.

Party location: Take me to the celebration of young love! SLurl.

Musical entertainment will be provided by DJ Lee and hosting by the always charming Ms Kharissa Indigo.

Please join us!

Tomais & I Celebrate Our 1st Anniversary

Shortly after the stroke of midnight (CET) my Tomais and I returned to Southern Charm to celebrate our first wedding (elopement) anniversary.

We danced together in The Aviary and invited my brother Dej to join us there. However, Dej told us he couldn't dance tonight because he was "wearing the wrong underwear", so he sat down to chaperon us instead.  (Let's see if you can figure out that comment.)

This would be a great opportunity to thank my husband for a wonderful year and tell him how happy I am that we have decided to continue together indefinitely.

I love you very much, my darling!

Blame It On the Internet

Social studies are showing that an ever increasing amount of couples find each other on social forums, gaming communities, virtual realities, matchmaking sites and other meeting places provided on the Internet. They meet each other there, fall in love and manage to carry it over into first life.

Yesterday we learned that Daimon and Hugo are one of these couples. They met through their SecondLife avatar accounts on Facebook, when Hugo commented on a funny thing Daimon had posted, then in-world where they fell in love and later on in first life.

The wedding venue was beautifully decorated in a coherent color scheme of white and lilac, the latter being a color I usually detest but it worked well this time. As Tomais was otherwise occupied I was escorted by the Crown Prince Guyke to represent the family.
Hugo and the guests are waiting for Daimon to arrive
The wedding started a little later than scheduled as one of the grooms-maids had to answer a nature call, but we all patiently waited for the girl to finish. When that was over we all started worrying about if Daimon had decided to ditch Hugo "at the altar" as he was nowhere to be seen. The only one who kept his calm about this was Hugo himself, because he could inform us that Daimon's primatar was sitting beside him at the computer.

Smooching after the ceremony - it went on forever!

After the wedding ceremony had been successfully concluded - and the grooms had finally stopped smooching - the wedding party could depart from the wedding venue and move into the reception area next door, which was decorated as beautifully.

Congratulations Mssrs. Daimon and Hugo Summers, may you be happy together in both your first life and your SecondLife. Thank you so much for inviting me to your wonderful wedding.

Don't forget guys, you promised to inform us when you get married in first life also!

Furthermore, I consider that Dejerrity Mycron must be partnered soon. The wonderful man's single status is an utter mystery to me and he certainly needs other things to occupy his mind. Interested parties should contact me a.s.a.p. for additional information.

Garrett's & Houston's Wedding

Tomais and I had the pleasure of being invited to the wedding of Messrs. Garrett Smith and Houston Di Armani yesterday. It was a moving (What wedding isn't, with all the love and honest declarations of commitment filling the air?) and wonderful experience.

Following the old adage "a picture says more than a thousand word", here are a few of my snaps from the ceremony and the reception afterwards.
Ms. BM Oh, the no doubt sexiest and most daring officiant in any
world, in a  stunning gown that revealed more skin than it covered.
The benches in the hall were packed with a selection of the hottest men and women to be found in SecondLife.
Ms. Helene Dragoone, fetching as always
Mr. Kahvy Sands, one of the groomsmen and the DJ at the reception

Thank you for a wonderful wedding and reception, Messrs. Di Armanis, my best wishes go to you both for a long lasting and happy marriage!

The Wedding of Benja & Ryce 3/23/2013

It's a bit late to publish these pictures from Benja's and Ryce's wedding last Friday, but I blame it on my Philip-flu. Please enjoy!
The guests gathered and we were all handled a candle when we arrived
The master of ceremonies Aeschylus Shepherd and the best men
When the happy couple has joined the rest of the wedding party under the tabernacle the ceremonies could begin
The wedding guests listening to the guys as they exchange their marriage vows, Benja's  list was short and sweet while Ryce's liste went on for a good while (although one of his vows was not to overwhelm Benja - and everyone else, I am sure - with his excellent typing capacity).
One of the sexier guests listening attentively to Ryce's vows.
More guests are dumbstruck by Ryce's speed typing,
especially the fact that it was free of typos.
After the wedding ceremony we moved into the ballroom of the castle for music, dance and cutting of cakes and much much more - for those who were feeling well enough to stay until the end..
The grooms are cutting the wedding cake.

Kharissa and I kept on dancing until I had to leave when my fever spiked,
we sure looked wonderful together

Knocked Out by the 4th Flu

Sweden has had four different flu-strains this winter which have been wrecking havoc among the population. I have already gone through three of them and was hoping that i would be lucky enough to avoid the fourth one.

Not so, while I was setting my auto-response message on my email at work on Friday - as I am taking a vacation until the Easter holidays - I felt my throat going all sore, the fever mounting in my delicious body and aches starting absolutely everywhere in my body, from head to feet and effecting every organ in between.

I managed to drop in at Benja's and Ryce's wedding yesterday and stay for a short while during the reception afterwards but then I was completely exhausted and had to crash into bed. '

I am blaming the weakness of my immune system on Philip Linden for the shocking news that he has deserted me into the hands of people I do not know or trust, with the possible exception of Mitch Kapor..

There will be no posts for a while until I feel much better! Take care all my darlings  and hope to see you soon!

The Wedding of Garth and Mitch (Updated)

If it was a fairy tale it would start something like this. "'Twas on the day when Dejerrity Mycron got 11 inches¹ on Manhattan Island, New York, N.Y., that Garth Raleigh and Mitch Underby were married in the humongous cathedral of Splendid Place."

The Much Honored Bock McMillan, laird of Southern Charm and prince of Cascade Falls, arrived to the cathedral fashionably late with his sullen aide-de-camp the commoner Butch Diavolo in tow. Butch was sullen because he had been ordered to accompany me and forced to wear shoes for the occasion.

"Do you really think that I can arrive at such a festive occasion without being accompanied by a  strikingly handsome man or with a peasant without shoes?", I asked him. "Now drop your c**k and grab your shoes, we have to be there in five minutes!"

The cathedral was already full of family and other guests of the two grooms when we finally arrived. Unfortunately I had my double-talk problem (today with a delay of a few minutes). This also affected my movements so I was walking all over the waiting guests before I could grab an empty seat.

Soon after we had arrived and taken our inconspicuous and uncharacteristically humble seats the officiant arrived. It was Draghan Marksman in the guise of a rabbinical neko², or as my aide-de-camp chose to call it "A Kosher Cat". He looked absolutely stunning.
A short while later the wedding procession made it´s entrance into the cathedral and the two grooms took their places at the pews.
The wedding service was fairly traditional with highly moving personal vows from the handsome grooms. Mitch tried to make a run from it all mid-ceremony, he most likely got a bout of the wedding-jitters, but to the relief of Garth and the assembled guests he re-logged quickly and the ceremony was completed in an orderly fashion.
After the ceremony there was a reception nearby. While trying to move there I encountered some troubles and decided to re-log. Before leaving I thought to myself that I should perhaps try unchecking the HTTP Textures again, as previously suggested by Whirly, to try to cure my old #01587329-problem. So I did that before leaving.
When I arrived back the company had assembled to hear speeches and toasts to honor the newly wed. My double-speech and double-movements had amazingly been cured, to my great relief.

There was also a show, mainly with the amazing entertainer Oliver Elton, but also a special appearance on stage by Atreyu Raleigh (or Trey or Craig I got confused by the many names people gave him) a son of one of the grooms who joined Oliver for a rendition of the gay anthem "Its Raining Men". I was so enthralled that I unfortunately forgot to take a picture.

Update
After talking with Craig Raleigh in-world I am proud to add this picture from the part I missed. Thank you Craig!
Craig Raleigh in "Its Raining Men", photographed by himself
During this performance, when Oliver and Atreyu turned their backs to the audience and bowed, a guest said "I see cracks, and they´re not on the ceiling mind you..."

The wedding party then moved into the adjoining room for champagne, cake and some dancing.
Above myself and my aide-de-camp flanking the newly weds. Below the officiant gets into the groove with the booze and finally topples over.
The rest of the guests were well-behaved although some intimate ass-fondling could be noticed by an observant onlooker (me).

It was here I re-encountered Rob Colter, the poor man who had been sitting beside me - and behind my emerald gown - at the Miss Wigstock 2013 contest. Rob was a perfect gentleman and tried to convince me that he had not been bothered in the least.
We were also treated to a spectacular fireworks show to the backdrop of the castle. This was again the widely talented Oliver Elton´s work.
After the fireworks show I noticed my typos increasing rapidly, which i a sure sign that I am getting very tired and should go to bed, so I congratulated the happy couple a final time said my good bye´s and dropped out to first life. When I dropped off the party was still going on and it may probably still be...

I hope you live happily ever after, Garth and Mitch!
