I am Bock in SecondLife and Bock is I in first life. We share thoughts, opinions, feelings, actions and reactions. We are one and the same and inseparable. On this blog I choose to share both my realities.

No Shoes. No Shirt. No Service.
Yesterday we took a break from our worries - (Well OK, my worries) - concerning Project -15 and instead inaugurated the new drive-in movie theater over by the barn. We in this case were my Tomais, Butch and I.
Although the sign says that it's "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" that is showing now, we in fact watched "The Avengers" (because that is the only movie in my libarary so far), or most of it.
It was a bit nippy in the air still, but we had a good time listening to Butch's running commentary on what was happening on the screen, or his interpretation of it...

Inventory Cleanup from Second Pride 2014
So Ebbe Linden (a.k.a. Ebbe Altberg, CEO of Linden Lab, The Makers of SecondLife) did not deign to respond to my tweets asking him to take some time to honor the largest LGBT event on the grid with a visit, nor did he pay us a visit (as far as I know).
For next years Pride I may choose to send him the invitation through bloggers and SLebrities Jo Yardley or Strawberry Singh, whose tweets he does seem to respond to.
However, as you see below we did get attention from at least two other first life celebrities from stage and screen, Conchita Wurst and Peggy Bundy!
On the last afternoon of Second Pride we also got to crown a King and Queen of Second Pride 2014 in a pageant arranged by Frolic Mills. I completely agree with the judges choices. The judges were, by the way, my hug-buddy Takuya Jinn - CEO/Chief Designer Gabriel, my dear old friend and hug-buddy Kharissa Indigo - Board Member of Second Pride, the lover of my Jesters Hat and therefore close to my heart Hobbit Zenfold - MR. V♛ GERMANY 2014 and Frolic Mills - CEO Partyculars and founder/former CEO of BOSL and Miss Virtual World.
The winners if the pageant were Queen Locuala Madrugi and King jOrGe (a.k.a. Manito12). Below presented in their first and second outfits of the evening.
Although Frolic repeatedly made excuses for there only being three candidates in each category, I must honestly say I think it was quite enough. Two hours are a suitable time frame for these events, we lead busy lives with two of them to juggle.

In closing I would like to share this Bitstrip my other half posted on Facebook today.

We had a wonderful Pride celebration in SecondLife this year.
My sincerest gratitude to all of the board members,
this was the best Second Pride evvvahhhhhhhh!
In my opinion Second Pride 2014 had a King and a Queen that did not take part in the pageant. The two are King Petr, "The reluctant chairman", and Queen Khar, "The old trusted hand who stepped in and saved the day".
In gratitude for their services and together with the rest of the board I hereby declare them to be honorary citizens of Southern Charm, with those citizenship's granted to them they are of course all now also royalty with princely titles.

Absolutely Fabulous!
The delicious Tomais and his spouse Bock, the laird of Southern Charm |
The delicious Avacar and his spouse Rico, the Lead of Gay Archipelago |
Anyhow, the Gay Archipelago, through the combined forces of nature Othon Weiland and Oliver Elton, had yet again put together a great show for us to enjoy.
There were five finalists, the fabulous Fanny Flamingo (Richardson Nootan), the Divine Dame Black (Waveyjustin), the delectable Cieline Dionysis (Ciel Silentghost), the delicious Donatella (Didier Rascon) and the peerless Paige Turner (Hobbit Zenfold).

The Peerless Paige Turner who had the most stunning entrance |
Judge Mimi Juneau |
Judge Rene Bonaparte |
Judge Owl Braveheart |
Rico and Parvin on the podium for the prize ceremony |
Parvin dashing as always |
Some poor sods who could not get a table in the V.I.P. section |
Winner (score 93 points) Didier Rascon
1st runner up (score 91 points) Hobbit Zenfold
2nd runner-up (score 81 points) Waveyjustin
I agree with the judges that it was indeed a toss-up between Didier and Hobbit, congratulations to both of them and thank you to Gay Archipelago and all the other organizers and contestants for giving us a wonderful show!

Hobbit
Another revelation about the inner life of the laird!
I am a "LOTR-ista". Today I bought this DVD and will be spending some time during the weekend just revelling in it.
Don't worry about telling me how it ends, I know already and have known for years. That fact will not decrease my enjoyment for a microsecond.
