Rejoice
I am back on the Internet again! I hope you only missed me half as much as I missed ya'll, particularly one of you...
I lost connection with Tomais, the Internet and the World Wide Web late on Sunday evening (local time) when my modem completely died on me when I was restarting it. After reporting the failure to my ISP on Monday morning it took them until today to ship me the replacement modem.
I am going to tell Comhem (my ISP) what I think of this. I was almost close to dying from abstinence. Surely they should be able to speed up this process of replacing modems by letting its customers go and pick up a new modem at any of the very many home-electronic stores.

Fifty Shades of Pink
This great little video above was made by LP Kidd for the Holtwaye Gallery of yesterdays "Be Our Art- Pink Edition" party.
And although others where chosen as the winners of the "Best in Pink" contest by the judges - who I'm sure were impartial and objective - my personal favorites were Fordis & Slam. The two, in my humble opinion, showed proof of an absolutely impeccable and extraordinarily exquisite taste in their choice of outfits for the event.

You Know You Are Getting Old When...
...the heroes and idols of your childhood start passing away.
Brasse Brännström, 69, died yesterday.
I think Brasse was one of the first men I ever loved, aside from my father. Oh, I must also mention the American actor William Kirby Cullen, whom I fell in love with as Josh Macahan in the TV series "How the West Was Won". Everyone else talked about Luke Macahan (played by Bruce Boxleitner), but for me there was only Josh.
Brasse became known to - and loved by - almost every now living Swede over the age of 30, when he co-hosted a Swedish TV-series for children named "Five ants are more than four elephants" where he played a sweet, funny and rather insecure character who always wore a silly leather hat.
Rest in peace, Brasse!
This was the intro to "Five ants are more than four elephants".

The New Black
Be afraid, be very afraid, of what you may encounter at the "Be Our Art - Pink Edition"-party at The Holtwaye Gallery this afternoon, 2-4 PM SLT, with DJ Coop.
"The new black" is a reference to the phrase "pink is the new black", which spawned multitudes of snowclones." (Wikipedia)
