Cruelty

What´s happening?

Suddenly my SecondLife is shaken in a most upsetting way as I read the the Queen of Swedish SecondLife PetGirl Bergman is going to stop bloging on the most read Swedish SL-Blog "Tinas universum".

PetGirl has decided to leave the blog to 5 unnamed Scandinavians to continue her work. Things will not be the same.

My Son Guyke

It isn't always easy to be the stepfather of a willful, intelligent, charming, sweet, loving man with excellent taste who is a well-known name to all SecondLife store owners, but I am proud to say I have been one and still am.

Guyke - which is pronounced "gheeeeee-ca" and rhymes with the Spanish word "chica" - has been the most loving, caring and totally irritating child I could ever have wished for.

It is lucky for both him and myself that I really am the most patient man in all of SecondLife, everyone tells me so and I am sure they tell him that also (because I encourage them to do that).

My Guyke is the best person to ask where to get anything you need in SecondLife as he has already been there and bought half of the inventory - if it is any good. He has the most amount of houses and could furnish about 43 of them with the stuff he already has in Inventory.

Well I love my son and I also know he loves me.It is with great pride that I today wish my dear son a

HAPPY FOURTH REZDAY!!!

Angel Watching Over Me

As I was driving home from work today I ran out on gas while I was still in the left lane of the freeway.

So with the last few milliliters in my tank I veered right to get to the side of the road. When I did so I didn't look back carefully enough so there would have been a bad crash had it not been for the skills of the driver of the car that was nearly running into me.

After the near miss, while I was still catching my breath, I heard my Ars say "That was close, babe! Look where you are going next time. And I don´t want to rub it in, but you knew you were low on gas already this morning."

When I had gotten a friend to come rescue me with a few liters of gas and was driving into my hometown I accidentally hit the thing on my steering wheel that changes the radio channel. The new channel had just started playing "Forever Young". That song has a special meaning to me in connection with Ars, I think I have explained it earlier in this blog.

Just saying, my angel is still watching over me! I´m shaken and stirred but totally unharmed. And no I am not going completely crazy due to my medication. I am still rational enough to realize that Ars voice was conjured up by my brain due to the scare, but that doesn't explain the coincidence of the music.

WTG Apmel

It´s a great joy to see that my friend and co-blogger Apmel Goosson´s blog "Min avatar heter Apmel" today hit the 600 000 visitors mark!

As you hopefully still remember that blog received the prestigious lifetime achievement award from The Bock McMillan Art Foundation (a part of the BMcM Corporation) the past weekend.

Way to go, Apmel, you are an example to us all!

The Weekend in Pictures

Well it started of badly on Saturday with me all dolled up and ready to go to a wedding of a friend and his partner. When I looked closely at the invitation - to get a clue where to teleport - I suddenly discovered that the wedding was on Friday, the day before.

So instead of going to that event I sent my excuses to my friend together with the wedding gift and my hopes that they had had a great time without me.

As I started complaining in the Swedish chat about my confusion I was told there was a spontaneous party starting at The Grenouille Inn, run by a friend of mine Iendi Laville.

Here you see me exposing myself to an angel on the counter of Grenouille Inn. (The angel is Iendi Laville.) This time there was a bet on about how fast I would get undressed, so I stretched it out a bit to tease the onlookers and it took me a full five (5) minutes.

On Sunday I as usual went to Circe´s Sunset Jazz Club for The Coffee and Pajamas Jazz Show with Elfay Pinkdot and the best chatters in local anywhere in SecondLife.

This is a picture of the sublime Miss Pinkdot.

We were celebrating the 29th anniversary of Circe Broom´s 21st birthday in real life, and looking at Miss Broom one wouldn't have guessed she was a day older than 21.

At the Sunset I met Joe´s fairy (yeah, yeah he is an elf but I prefer to say fairy) husband Dalimar for the first time. They looked really hot on the dancefloor.

Look at those moves woohoo!

The weekend ended with my usual run to the other friendliest club in SecondLife, yeah there are two tied for that position, Vampi´s OrmDricka. There I met DJ Lucien Maven again, I really must say that man has impeccable taste! Here you see some snapshots of us together.

SecondLife Culture Blog Honored - Updated

Original header
Updated header
In a communique issued this morning by The Bock McMillan Art Foundation (a part of the BMcM Corporation) it has been announced that the foundation has decided to honor the blog "Min avatar heter Apmel" ("My avatars name is Apmel") with "a lifetime achievement award for it´s dedicated work to spread information and knowledge about art, culture and philosophy in SecondLife to the culturally challenged residents of both the virtual and real worlds."

The chairman of the foundation, The Much Honored Bock McMillan, Laird of Southern Charm, in an exclusive interview said: "It is true that Mr Lennart Nilsson, the primatar behind the hosts of Apmels swarming all over the virtual worlds of SecondLife, InWorldz etc. etc., is a dear friend to me and my sister Millimina, but that has nothing to do with this decision. The foundation simply wishes to recognize the blog for it´s worthwhile and dedicated work. He may sometimes be an enfant terrible but he always stays true to his character and his elected mission."

UPDATED with the new blog header! Did I tell you Apmel is sweet?
