Teenage Dream

Sweet, but I still don´t ever want to be 18 again! I am so happy to be 40 and have all that behind me.

No more falling in love, being in love or sex and all that crap.  All I have to worry about now is food, doctors appointments, fresh air and lots of exercise. Duhhh well not just quite yet, I´ll start thinking about all that when I am about 95 or over...

This is a scene from the American television series "Glee", Darren Criss sings acapella to Chris Colfer.

Sony blocked this video on YouTube, but I found it again at GleeonFox. Bite me Sony!

  1. Well soror Nishi today has a post

    The Language of the Victim

where she protests against having compulsive computer usage and/or sex diagnosed as unhealthy addictive behaviours.

"I don’t know any boy between the ages of 14 and 40 who has not been, or is not, addicted to sex", she says.

Right! But where did she get that last number from?? I´m with Bock that it should be 95 or maybe two weeks after burial.

  3. I don't ever want to been a teen again either;) I remember being in love ALL the time and I'm talking about love, not sex ;)Those were always very confusing times and at some stage I heard a psycholigist say on tv, you can agree with yourself not to fall in love. I tried and I could :) The best times in my life were always the times I was 'in between' loves and/or relationships. I took that time to think things over and gain self confidence, be happy with just me ;) It feels great to be in control of your life and feelings. Being 'in love' always made me lose control but then I can't think of a more overwhelming feeling, so 'love' is always tempting.
I'm glad I'm older and wiser now :D Allthough I still make mistakes but then live is all about learning I guess...

  4. Ahhhhh Suteruni, but those mistakes are soooo wonderful while they last do we really want to ever be completely without them? ;)

I can still remember falling in love with Ars, over and over again for some things he did - or did not do. Actually I can remember it about other men also.

But I agree wholeheartedly, we can maintain a better control on ourselves as we get older and that is a great feeling too, but ohhhh the feeling when we finally let go off that control surpasses everything...
