Avacar and Butch at Pride

On Sunday I visited the SLT-morning dances at Pride to support my buddies Avacar Bluestar and Butch Diavolo. Both of them stepped into this on rather short notice, Avacar after the former lead DJ at his club had quit yesterday and Butch stepping in for a DJ that didn't show up at the venue.

I am very happy to inform you that they both performed extremely well and kept us entertained with good music and chat for two hours each.

I was so happy to see Paul Maracas again at the set. Paul is an old friend from the Sarco Sound days whom I haven´t seen since the wake after the first memorial for my Ars at Saint Magnus Kirk on Hinterland.

Over to the pictures.

Showing Off My Latest Outfit

Well, I did warn you that I saw an outfit I loved at the fashion show yesterday. So the first thing I did after logging in to SecondLife today was go to the Beefcake shop at Second Pride and buy the things I needed and dress up in them. Stunning, don't cha think?

I really like it, even if Levi Ewing told me he would never dare wear an outfit like this and my friends Paul Maracas and Butch Diavolo agreed on that it made my ass and thighs look fat.

The Splash Party with DJ Regi

After fiddling unsuccessfully with the settings on my viewer (Linden Lab´s Viewer 3) for about an hour and a half to get it to play Birdcage for me, I finally gave up.

At the end I reached so far that the viewer told me it was playing Media but I still could not see or hear anything. I know that it is way easier on the Firestorm viewer, because Media has a button of its own there, but that viewer is too heavy and slow for my purposes, and it´s overloaded with shit I do not need or want.

Searching for something else to do I saw that the Second Pride Splash Party was on, so I decided to go there with my music turned down very low - and I do not regret it because the place was filled with Ziggy Starsmith, Levi Ewing, Larz Kaz and a lot of other of SecondLife´s hunkiest male avatars and a few of the nicest female ones too, like Kharissa Indigo and Tootsie Nootan.

The motto for the party was "as bare as you dare, but no erections allowed" which, as I told Ziggy, was the first request I heard of that is actually easier to accomplish in SecondLife than in first life.

SP2012 - Day 2

Lets start at the end of my second day with a few hunky men, it always makes me feel better.

Above and below you see the three hunkiest men of the day at Second Pride, it´s DJ Cupric "The Coop" Router and his host Jagger Naughton with a companion doing their SWAMP THANG. Whatever that was it was leisurely and sexy.

I took it very easy Day 2 and gave it an early night because I knew I had to be up by 12 AM (midnight) SLT for Elfay Pinkdot´s Coffee & Pajamas Jazz Show and an hour after that my mate DJ Sarco Halderman´s set..

DJ Wesley Spengler grooving and blogger Jeff Ellsworth checking him out.
The rest of the day I spent checking out the Ruthenium sim, where parts of the celebration rakes place.

I found the exhibition of quilts there, beautifully displayed and in a calm setting. Strangely enough there were quilts from 2003-2009 and none at all for 2010 and later.
The buildteam for Second Pride, under the lead of my friend Levi Ewing,  have done a really great job, with beautiful sets imaging the streets of
Buenos Aires (SLurl)
London (SLurl)
San Francisco (SLurl) and
Sydney (SLurl)

On Ruthenium there are a couple of beautiful streets from a few block in Buenos Aires. (see below)
The Gay History Museum is an amazing build showing an exhibition of the LGBT-movement from the early days until the present days. The globes are a masterpiece, both from outside and within.
