Cloud Panic Planing

The oldest female avatar known and the Swedish Queen of SecondLife blogs, Ms. PetGirl Bergman over at Tinas Universum, today shares some of her hard earned wisdom with us.

PetGirl recommends us to read Inara Pey´s excellent post "Avatar A Cloud" which contains several handy tips in case you get stuck in a cloud-state or if you are ruthed.

Among the many tips Inara shares with us in that post is to create a panic-folder for those ugly situations. I am going to make one as soon as I log in-world today.

W.T.F. - UPDATED

Strange things are going on in SecondLife.

Today I ran my alt Wild for the first time in a very long while. This is what he looked like on his own screen... All ruthed with boobs and a strange skin and only half of his clothes and the soles of his shoes.

I relogged and cleared caches and loaded inventory for the longest while, but still nothing changed.

Everytime I tried changing shape or skin or clothing I got the system message "Cannot change appearance until clothing and shape are loaded". Wild cannot go to appearance either.

So I left him there for two hours and then tried again and I still got the same message.

When I looked at Wild on my own screen he looked like this. As you see he is wearing his skin here, his shoes and all his clothes but the shape is all f**ked.

So you computer savvy guys and girls, what can i do to get my beautiful Wild back looking like this...

UPDATE: And after help from NE0 and Jeff we have Wild in all his unadorned beauty back! Thanks guys!

Shit happens

Ohh the terrible tricks that SecondLife plays with it´s residents sometimes! This is how I saw one of my bosom buddies at Ewa Aska´s party yesterday...

A cute ass and great boobs that any woman would be proud of huh? The only thing is that Apmel is a hunky "heterosexually challenged" man.

The absolutely worst thing about being "ruthed" is that one usually doesn't see it oneself - but everyone else does.

Kranfel har öppnat upp igen

Som ni har märkt har "Mer eller mindre KRANFEL" under en månads tid haft begränsad tillgänglighet. Det var bara de som valde att lämna uppgift om sin e-postadress som släpptes in. Vissa vågade eller ville inte göra detta och kunde därför inte läsa Vesper Klings eller Alessia Kranfels inlägg under den perioden.

Idag har Vesper/Alessia valt att öppna upp bloggen för allmänheten igen. Såsom av en händelse publicerade människan redan igår denna bild av en er alla närstående svensk bloggare (name withheld). Om ni tror att detta händelseförlopp är en tillfällighet så är ni väldigt naiva!

Nakna avatarer i SL 32

Den annars så söte Chaplin Early tycker att vi ska stå upp för "ruthorna" och "rutharna" i oss alla.

"Ruth" kallas det som inträffar när man ser ut som skit för att bilderna i SL inte laddar upp ordentligt och färgen eller formen på avataren blir konstig. Oftast är det bara omgivningen som ser det, eftersom man själv ser sig som lika vacker som alltid.
