Tinies Shouted, Lindens Fixed It

Multiple sources have reported that the hover-height issue has been resolved.

The Linden's "floated a new update to help [us] get back on the ground" *snicker* soon afterward.

Yet again, I reaffirm my love for the Lindens and Linden Lab, for coming to the tinies aid in their time of need!

Float With The Tiny Community

The Much Honored Bock McMillan, the laird of Southern Charm etc.etc., is showing his support for the tiny community's struggles in SecondLife.

"We all want to be grounded", the laird says, "the struggle of the tinies is Ours."

And here is some good news on the matter shared by Inara Pey on Twitter

If you would like a set of stilts, please send me a message inworld and I will supply you with a pair. They are made for an offset of 0.4

I Will Float With The Tinies!

Yesterday I read my friend Ricco Saenz heartbreaking post Second Sighting: For hover height, Tinies gathered in a protest that was far from being tiny about the present struggles of the tiny community in SecondLife.

Today I have decided that I will sympathy-float with my tiny friends for one (1) month in support of their struggle. The only exceptions will be when I am taking part in a major motion picture production or modeling for one of the master photographers.

I am changing my hover height and making stilts as soon as I get into SecondLife.

Tomais & Bock at Calas Galadhon

Today Tomais and I made our monthly visit to Calas Galadhon. As we had been to the Fantasy Fair first we were still in our tinies.

The Fantasy Fair has been a real disappointment this time I must say, with mostly stuff for women, although we did get rideable dragons. (Tomais, you'd better remind me to unpack it tomorrow!)

Preparations at Raglan Shire

From left to right, the genius Mr. Tomais Ashdene Esq. and his little helper and personal
cheerleader The Much Honored Bock McMillan, laird of Southern Charm etc., etc.
Raglan Shire's Art Walk 2014 is coming up and Tomais has been invited to participate, so today we went there to set up his work. We of course had to change into our tiny avatars to go there.

The hedges at the venue were almost completely covered with some pretty amazing artwork and some not so amazing... After looking around awhile Tomais found an excellent spot, in front of the Grendel store.

Tinies, Furries, Goreans, Romans and More (Correction)

DJ Shadow at the Tinies Dance
A thing I like very much about this years Second Pride is the fact that the board has managed to bring in many of the gay subgroups in SecondLife, with the possible exception of the lesbians who sadly still seem to be preferring a sort of "splendid isolation". Correction, They are here!  Prætor tells me he saw a ton of them here last evening!

In this years Pride celebration the tinies, the furries, the Goreans and the Romans are taking part in a highly visible way with their own presence in exhibitions and events. I thoroughly and completely love it and am grateful to the board for doing this!

Alas I came to the tinies dance just as it was about to end but I am still happy I got there.

Next I went to the jousting arena to see another event between the warriors of Gor and the Roman gladiators. I realize all do not appreciate it, but I sure do like watching the hunky men there and join in the unexpectedly cordial banter going on. The Goreans and Romans seem to be a fun group of people I must say.

I am more than pleased to be able to inform you that I got a promise from Parvin, who seems to be one of the head-honcho's of the Goreans, that next year they will implement a "thongs only" rule for the attire usd during the jousting, thus giving the gloating spectators an eyeful.
When I got to the furries party I sadly did not set the lighting properly so most of my pictures turned out too dark, except for the one beneath. But that on the other hand is a real beaut!

The furries also seemed like a good natured and kind lot, especially the DJ Skan who humoristically referred to me as "meat" in the most charming manner.
Today was also the day for an inspirational speech by 20 y/o Jordan Maxwell Anderson. The young man shared his wisdom with those of us who were there to listen. What the young man may have lacked in experience he made up in youthful enthusiasm. It was actually more inspiring than I had expected.
The beautiful Lee McKay was there to listen
