France bans burquas
The French Senate voted 246 to 1 (the Socialist, Communist, and Green party members abstained from voting) on Tuesday in favor of the bill, which has already passed in the lower chamber, the National Assembly. It will need President Nicolas Sarkozy's signature.
Legislative leaders in the Senate and the National Assembly said they wanted the Constitutional Council to examine it. They said in a joint statement that they want to be certain there is "no uncertainty" about it conforming to the constitution.
France's legislature is the first to vote on such a law, but similar measures are proposed in several other Western European countries.

The reactionaries attack has started against the weekest amongst us, when will it reach you and your chosen way of life?
Let me make it totally clear, I am not at all in favour of women covering themselves up in this extreme way, but I totally support their right to do so if they choose it themselves and it doesn´t interfere with anyone else´s liberty, health or safety.
What will be banned next? I am hoping for bicycle pants!

"Sarah"
"Sarah"
by Mauro Scocco
No boys are sleeping
She´s in all their rooms
In the air they breathe
her kiss on their lips
They sneak around her door
with her picture in their pockets
They are the heroes in the movie,
she´s the girl
They cry out her name, but no one hears
And the stars sing in unison
She walks past my house,
I follow every step she takes
She disappears around the corner,
and then there is only longing left
They say that she lives alone
and maybe she wants it that way
But if she got to know me,
would it change anything then?
I stand at her door
Hear the heart beat
I go up to her door and ring the bell
oh, come out tonight
Oh Sarah, come out tonight
I´m waiting at the corner by 7-Eleven
Sarah, you are more than I understand
put on your jacket, so we can take a walk
She is wild like the wind
She is warm as a summer night
In her eyes sparkle
an infinite treasure
There is nothing I wouldn´t do
to have her here
I´ll take down the moon and the stars
I promise, I swear
I walk up to her door and ring the bell
on the other side, on the other side someone begins to walk
oh, come out tonight ...
Oh Sarah, come out tonight
I´m waiting at the corner by 7-Eleven
Sarah, you are more than I understand
put on your jacket, so we can take a walk
Come out, come out,
Come out tonight ...

I am proud to present to you all my friend Brendon Heron. I first met Brendon during my early days in Second Life, while I had my home set to a gay beach. Brendon was beautiful already back then. He has since become even more handsome and nowadays frequently works as a model at fashion shows.
"Mission Beach", also known as "Boots Gay Beach", was an amazing place back then. It was owned by Boots Mission and Shawn Mission, a gay couple, with the purpose of being a safe haven for gay male avatars. There were always some "oldtimers" - sometimes only a few months older than us noobs - there that continuously looked after us and helped us along while teaching us "the do´s and don´ts" of Second Life.
The oldtimers were extremely patient with us noobs. The beach was always a friendly place and a school. There was always someone willing to show you how to set your viewer to get a more beautiful world, where to get things we needed and even how to build and script.
I will always be grateful for all the help I got at Mission Beach those first months in Second Life and all the friendly and kind people I met there.

The Placque
Ohh I just remembered, I forgot to tell you all that the sweet and sexy Chade Dagger, owner of Club Erotes, sent me my placque this weekend.
I have already put it in a very visible spot on my house. No one visiting me will be able to miss it, well not if they aren´t completely blind or totally besotted with me...
Dont forget to visit the clubs blog Erotes to see the best picture ever taken of me - and a lot of hot SL-men! Chade really is an awesome photographer.

Thought of the Day
George Orwell, once said: "If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear".
I am grateful to anyone and everyone who gives me the right to speak my mind.
I really do take pains to make my views clear in a nonaggressive, nice and humane way except when I honestly believe a more forceful stance is called for.
Enough said on that subject ha ha ha

On this wonderful picture you see the two beautiful and gorgeous Selma Edman (photographer) and Iendi Laville take a bare-assed dip with a giant tortoise. The girls are lovingly known as "The Evil Twins" by their friends.
Do not ask me which ass belongs to which woman, they are both cute!
