Eddi Wants Your Poster!

Bock as seen by Chade Dagger and then "Photofuniad"
My friend and co-blogger Eddi Haskell is calling for your posters on his blog Eddi Haskell´s Second Life. Head on over to read the post and the particular requirements and get his email.

This is my contribution, with a slogan ripped off from L'Oréal skincare products. For the non-francophone among my readers the meaning of the slogan is "Because we are worth it".

I suggest you start mail-bombing him straight away - I did!

Handsome Men in SecondLife

There are too many images of women on this blog right now for a gay male blogger, so I thought I would give you some male beauty too.

Let me first tell you that I am purposely leaving out my Ars from this short list, because I cannot look at him objectively. Secondly, I am not even going to pretend I remember all the handsome human faces I have seen in SecondLife, so these are just the ones that pop-up in my mind at this moment. I may continue the list at a later time though.

Cats are not included in this list for the obvious reason that there is only one cat that could make the list... ´nuff said...

So here are the three avatars I would like to introduce you to today (in no particular order).

Andrey Messmer, my beautiful Brazilian brother in-law (BIL). His looks change constantly, but he always remains stunning.

Fabrice Snook, is a stylish French avatar in SecondLife. I have never talked with Fabrice that I can remember and the only time I saw him personally he was a participant at a drag contest in one of the craziest outfits I have ever seen. This picture is from Fabrice´s profile.

Loch Wolfhunter, is a sexy Brit whom I first saw at one of my BIL´s sets. Andrey tells me he has the sexiest British accent he has ever heard and that he is a great builder. This picture is from his SecondLife profile.

Isn't it a bit strange that they are all gay?

Midsummers Party

I am so happy to see someone took care of this traditionally huge Swedish event now that the Queen of Swedish SecondLife has gone A.W.O.L.

Thanks Ewa Aska!

40-something

My co-blogger Sven Idyll over at opensweden. Leva i "kartong" is doing an interesting project on making an age-appropriate looking female avatar at 40-something.

My main complaints on Sven's attempts so far are
1. The avatars look way older than 40-something, in my mind they look more like 60-70.
2. Until his latest attempt published today he dressed them like 20-somethings and with the paraphernalia of that age group, like toe-rings
3. Aging doesn't necessarily mean you become "uglier", it just means you have to spend a bit more time in the morning and you have to do more regular up-keep and work harder for the results.

Here I would like to post some inspirational pictures for Sven with real life women in their 40´s.

Nicaragua's Butterflies of Hope 2

Haha someone more was awake at this ungodly hour.

This butterfly is from Jonathon who says "Abortion is a womans choice, go girls"

If you also would like to post a butterfly but don´t have anywhere to do so, please send it to me on this address Bock´s e-mail (click to open) with your name, any short message you would like and I will be happy to post it for you here.

For further instructions on why and how to do this please read my previous post.

Nicaragua's Butterflies of Hope

This is the butterfly I created..

Defending women's and girls' rights in Nicaragua.

28 September 2011 is the Day for the Decriminalization of Abortion in Latin America and the Caribbean. Women and girls in Nicaragua believe that this is their chance to make their voices heard. Stand alongside them…create a butterfly!

Go here to create your own butterfly  and join women and girls fighting for their human rights in Nicaragua.Learn more about Amnesty Internationals campaign to end sexual violence against girls and women in Nicaragua »

In Nicaragua, girls and young women are at greatest risk of rape and sexual violence. Almost half of all rapes reported between 1998 and 2008 involved girls aged 14 or under.

For some women and girls made pregnant by rape, the idea of giving birth is unbearable. But since 2008, when Nicaragua made all forms of abortion in all circumstances a crime, they have had little choice.Women and girls in Nicaragua are demanding the repeal of the total abortion ban. They are calling for their right to be free from sexual violence and for support for survivors of violence to put their lives back on track.

The Nicaraguan government must act to put an end to this human rights emergency.

If you would like to post it but don´t have anywhere to do so, please send it to me on this address Bock´s e-mail (click to open) with your name, any short message you would like and I will be happy to post it for you here.
