"Blogger" is hassling me again

I have had a lot of problems with Blogger recently. I constantly get "Service Unavailable Error 503" whatever I try to do.

And suddenly I cannot even see my new NeoCounter anymore with the Internet Explorer or Firefox browsers, but I can still see it with the Safari browser...? I could see it in the two first mentioned browsers when I logged off last night, and haven´t changed anything since. Javascript is still enabled and so are cookies...

Internet Explorer

Safari
Am I all alone in the world with this problem?
Does anyone have any tips?
Is it me or is it Blogger?
Should I shoot myself?
Should I give up blogging?
Do I need therapy?
Do I need to take a Blogger-class inworld?
Do I need a brain transplant?

Please answer fast to "Hassled by Blogger or something..." in comments below!

  1. What kind of problems? Today "Service Unavailable" comes up all the time.

  2. Lol Carla, you are too fast - always consider the first five minutes of any post on this blog as a rough draft.

I often have to edit the first few minutes after publishing ;)

  4. Bock, I have found Chrome works allot better than Firefox or Explorer with Blogger. Which browser are you using? Chrome is very simple, many of these Service Unavailable messages are because your browser is sending too many instructions to the host site. I am now using Chrome -- which is very simple -- all the time for blog postings.

  7. Thx Vampi, I´ll check that too and see if I can download a new Flash.

I am just now trying out the Chrome viewer that Eddi recommended, seems to be working fine once I sort it out ;)

  8. One other thing -- during busy periods, say 11:00 am - 7:00 PM sl time, when most blogging occurs, Blogger is bound to have more traffic than other times and will come up with busy messages.

  9. I to has and have had a lot of problems with Blogger (I mostly uses firefox) over the last 6-8 months - but the problem come and go.

And I apriciate that more ones that have problems write about it as in my case some few people blame me not blogger for the problems.

Our friend Vanadis also tell that firefox steel memory - from Second Life viewers and make that unstable. Vanadis? Can you please explain that.

  11. Haha Loo, sure monday morning will be excellent, but I have a meeting in the afternoon, will we be done before that?

Thanks again, Eddi, but the time of day has really never been a problem earlier as I can remember. I´ll try to pay more attention to when exactly the problems occur!

Thats awful Tina, we never want to be blamed for things we cannot help.

...and I just noticed they have taken my new widget offline. I think that may have been the cause of the problems with the Flashplayer that Vampi has commented on earlier, but I am still getting the "Service Unavailable" from Blogger...

  13. Ahhh Vampi, I think there was a problem with the counter too because it was shut down all day yesterday - on all my viewers ;)

But I am still getting the "Service Unavailable" on Blogger, but not the whole time now...
