Creating A New Blogheader

Urban, trendy, edgy and even sexy, were some of the words being thrown about when I discussed the new header picture for Bock in SecondLife with my boyfriend Tomais - and at the time soon to be husband although we were unaware of that - when he had agreed to help  me.

Although I at one point halfheartedly suggested that I perhaps should be naked while draped over the O, that was vetoed by both Tomais and Guyke. As both of them are well known for their good taste, I did not force my will in the matter.

At my brother Dej's request we added a "Dej was here" on the condom vending machine, which I thought was a nice touch.

Otherwise this shoot was a another backbreaking experience with my Tomais muttering to himself while taking shots and fiddling with lighting and Photoshop, luckily Guyke was there to entertain me through it all.

New Header April 2012

I am celebrating the arrival of spring in my part of the world with this new header for the blog and a new profil picture.

Who needs Photoshop when you have the amazing Microsoft PowerPoint 2010, huh? Well, it is an easy way out for us amateurs that have less talent than the professional graphic designers.

What do you think? Is there anything I should change? Kandinsky, how do my eyes look?

Extreme Makeover

As a blogger I feel I must - at least sometimes - allow myself to be influenced by complaints from my readers.

Although I will always maintain that this is my blog and I bloody hell right what I want to as long as stay well within the scope of the blog providers rules, the Swedish law and normal human decency.

Today I received a complaint from another blogger that my blog header was way too blurry and she kindly offered me a sharper image. I rejected the proposal and decided to try a new look without reverting to black, so I landed on this transparent-grey-white beehive look.

As a blog header I chose a picture that SecondLife photographer Kent Hutchinson took. I am still in my "dead eyes" in the picture, but you will have to live with that. Hope you like it because I am sticking with it until December!

Snyggt om jag får säga det själv...

Till min egen överraskning lyckades jag idag skapa två stycken ganska hyfsade "blog headers", eller vad tycker ni?

Nr 1 är egentligen lite för suddig men ser å andra lite drömsk ut och passar väl in i bloggmallens färgskala

Nr 2 är klar och överensstämmer med den bild jag har i mitt Googlekonto men passar inte riktigt i färgschemat - och håret sitter för högt upp ;(

Nu vet jag inte vilken jag skall välja... hmmmm jag kanske skulle ta en ny bild...?

Visst är det underbart när man har så små bekymmer ibland? ...men jag har semester så det är tillåtet!
