SL Blogroll Clean-Up

Today I did a bit of delayed spring-cleaning when it came to my SecondLife blogroll.

The principles for removing blogs on my SecondLife blogroll have been

1. The blog has been deleted
2. The blog has not been updated for over a year
3. The blog doesn't adhere to the principle of mutual reciprocity - "Why in hell should I promote that blog, if they cannot be bothered to link to my blog? Not having a blogroll is no excuse, the same principle applies." (Two exceptions have been made to this rule. One because the blog was recently restarted and the blogger may not have gotten around to adding a blogroll yet and the other because I myself find great entertainment value in it despite it not having a blogroll.)

If you feel you have been unfairly removed, please send a touching letter with your complaints, in triplicate, to

He may care more than I do, he is such a kind and caring man they say....

If you on the other hand, should already have me on your SL blogroll or happen to add me to it, please inform me by dropping a note card on my SL profile or sending me an email and I will be happy to promote your blog in return. 

This Is For Petr Hastings Vanbeek

Well Petr, look what I found after having reading your comment to me on Google+.

Do you see what is says at the bottom of the list? There's a blog named "Confessions of a Digital Daddy Bear".

That particular blog is run by a giggly guy - at least when Tasty is logging into SecondLife - named Petr Hastings Vanbeek, i.e you yourself!

Your blog has been on my blogroll since I put it there several years ago.

Sometimes it takes awhile for the blogroll to update, I never understood why, but in those cases you can press the "Show All" in the lower right corner and you will get the complete blogroll, not only the five that were last updated.

So, are we good again, buddy?

Welcome "Outside the Box"

Please join me in welcoming my friend Nathan Svenson to the wonderful world of blogging about SecondLife.

Nate's blog is named "Outside the Box". In a statement on the blog Nate tell us what he intends to blog about, "There is a rich and vibrant culture happening in virtual reality I plan to document some and hopefully learn more about the people and concepts I encounter."

"Outside the Box" has of course already been added to my blogroll with SecondLife blogs.

"The Journey to Me"

Today I have new addition to my blogrolls, both the SecondLife and the first life ones as it - perhaps - will straddle  both.

The blog is my dear friend and Royal Gardener, Butch Diavolo's latest attempt at blogging ("for the umpteenth time", as he himself says) The journey to me. I am certain I will enjoy reading Butch's thoughts and opinions and rants, and hope that you go too.
