Wherein this avatar's fates, adventures and experiences in, his thoughts and feelings about and his reactions to his first and second life are depicted with written messages, images and other audiovisual tools.
I am Bock in SecondLife and Bock is I in first life. We share thoughts, opinions, feelings, actions and reactions. We are one and the same and inseparable. On this blog I choose to share both my realities.

The Re-Opening of Whim
During one of our talks last week I mentioned to my son, that he and I had known and loved too many DJ's in SecondLife. The statement is of course true, I would never lie to you all about something so important as love. I am, however, not quite sure what I meant with the comment, because I would not wish not having known and been given the opportunity of loving any of them.
Anyway, last night one of the DJ's my son and I know and love, the incredible, brilliant, sublime and - not to forget - humble Butch Diavolo invited us to the re-opening of his Club Whim, which for no particular reason, other than a whim of the genius himself, was shut down before the summer.
Butch wishes us to think of this as a new club "The Whim - Part Deux", but to me it's still the old Whim in a more dilapidated condition. (Dilapidation is actually more difficult to get right than making something look fresh and new, as the genius will willingly tell you.)
Guyke, I and the rest of the patrons were treated to one of Butch's best sets of trance music in SecondLife yet. I was almost knocked speechless, which is no easy feat.

Hanging at Whim
Tonight I went to Whim, the trance club owned and operated by my buddy Butch Diavolo. DJ Heloq Tomsen was spinning interesting psych trance music.
The atmosphere at the club was friendly and relaxed and that was what I needed today. I have to get up early tomorrow morning to take a flight at 07.30. And as those who know me already know, I absolutely detest early mornings and especially early morning flights.

My First Night With Feline
DJ Feline with the studelicious sidekick Shorty |
Butch grooving and moving |
My ex-missus and wife-for-a-day Iendi Laville and the "prima donna assoluta" of SecondLife my friend Ewa Aska joined us. Ewa had a toyboy in tow who was easy on the eyes but did not speak or respond to greeting or questioning.
We danced and had a good time until dawn came - as it must - even when you are in Trance heaven.

At Sacred Trance with DJ Butch
On Sunday evening I went to the first regular set at my buddy Butch Diavolo´s new club "Sacred Trance".
The club will have a regular Sunday set from 12 PM - 4 PM with two DJ´s on for two hours each. There will also be sets on another day of the week, but I was too immersed in IM´s when Butch told us about that so I have actually forgotten which day that was. Hopefully Butch will drop the information in a comment or I will add it at a later time.
The has been built by Butch himself by "ripping out" and "sticking together" two churches that were originally built by Van Auster. The builder and designer Van himself was there to inspect what damage Butch had made to his building and was impressed by the result like the rest of us.
Van Auster is of course best known as the owner of the store "Post", that apart from beautiful buildings also sells wonderful furniture. Butch boldly claims that he has everything in the store and that his club and home are really a showcase for Van´s work because "almost everything (he) has in his club and home is from the Post".
The music was great, even if I joked with Butch and threw Ars´s old truth "Everyone is a DJ in SecondLife, or at least they think so!"
