Eighth and Final Day of Second Pride

The last day of Second Pride was finally here. I had planned to go to the Folsom Fetish Pride party since I saw it on the calendar. From prior experiences following Ars around the gay clubs in-world I was certain I would meet some of the best looking male avatars SecondLife has to offer.

The gay leather men are the most stunning guys in SecondLife if you ask me. Most of them are big sim owners, club owners, designers and store owners as DJ Hotboy pointed out during his awesome set.

Oh there was a contest there, perhaps I forget to inform you and guess who won it?
Let me just say that I am sure the guys were just being nice to a newcomer, but still it gives me the opportunity to say to the "Quadruplets" and especially AngelOf: "The hottest looking men in SecondLife voted and I won, eat your hearts out!!"

Shame on Moscow

GlobalVoices reports: "The May 28 Moscow Pride event - banned by the city authorities on May 17 - did not go smoothly: according to news reports, at least 18 gay rights activists and 14 of their opponents were detained by the police, at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Manezhnaya Square and, later, in front of the Mayor's Office on Tverskaya Street. This was the sixth attempt to hold a gay pride parade in Russia's capital.

A number of foreign gay rights activists were arrested in Moscow on May 28, including a former U.S. Army officer Dan Choi."

It is totally disgraceful for Moscow and all Russians that a pride parade and festival cannot be held in the capital of Russia in 2011 without being banned by civil authorities and without violence and intolerance.

Shame on you, Moscow!

Seventh Day of Second Pride (Now With Corrected Typos)

(I first posted this at 5 AM my time, I clearly shouldn't have because the typos and misspellings were really embarrassing. I have checked and corrected everything now, hopefully I got them all..)

The evening started with a party led by DJ Shea Paule. As i understand it DJ Shea substituted with extremely short notice for another DJ that had gone AWOL.It was not noticed in his play list, he played us a good mix of great music.

Here we see what Jeff see´s and what he doesn't ever see, namely his nice ass. Isn´t it strange? The strong, silent and shy men always catch my interest? (Maybe it´s because I am such a damned loudmouth myself , but I will not tell any of you that little secret.)

The second set of the evening was with DJ Hotboy. (MJshotboy Skytower - as his full in-world name is - was accompanied by his partner Ohiomike Lockjaw, otherwise a studelicious man who unfortunately remained unrezzed as a big sexy cloud so I will not post pictures of him.)

Hotboy played an awesome mix of good tunes filled in with crowd pleasing gay anthems, (newer versions of the the classics and some modern anthems like Lady Gaga´s "I was born this way"). As I have said before, if ever there is a time and a place for gay anthems it sure as hell is Pride.

There is really only one small thing I have to object about DJ Hotboy and that is his terrible habit of yelling in the microphone. He really is a good and creative enough DJ and we actually do feel his energy without it. The yelling pisses me off I am afraid - everytime.

The After-the-party-party

After the party at Pride I was invited by DJ Regi Yifu to his set at Gay Riviera, I brought Sven Sharktooth along with me.

When we got there we landed in a swimming-pool with a load of the best looking male avatars I have seen for a long time in SecondLife in varying stages of undress. (Hell no, none of the quadruplets were there!)

The venue was awesome and with the great lighting that changed all the time so I do think I really got some very nice pictures! The guys were nice also, and none of them objected to me taking pictures to post on my blog.

Pride is a great time for meeting old friends. While looking around at the beautiful men I saw a name that stirred a fond memory. I met Willa Mayo sometime during my first three months in SecondLife. He was cute back then, but he was even cuter now! I felt like bursting out in song like Jeanette Macdonald in "Ah sweet mystery of life at last I found thee" but settled for saying "Hey Willa, good to see you again!"

I didn´t stay very long at the party though, it was getting very late in my timezone and I had been almost 22 hours so I needed to catch some sleep. But Friday sure as hell was a great day!

Second Pride Bloggers Converge

As I told you in the earlier post I was dancing with blogger Eddi Haskell and had already seen blogger Jeff Ellsworth at the venue.

When Eddi also spotted blogger NakedCarl there he suggested we take a few group pictures of us Second Pride bloggers, which we all thought was an excellent idea.
