Stockholm Pride, July 27 - August 1, 2015

It's time again for my friend Apmel's neighbours to raise the Pride-flag.

Stockholm Pride, the largest Pride-festival in Scandinavia, started today and ends on Saturday.

Account for AFC Donations at The Pool Party

This is an account for the donations made at the pool party at Southern Charm on Saturday July 25, 2015.

There were three donation boxes at the venue, each received donations of L$11,367, L$10,750 and L$10,100 respectively, which makes a grand total of L$32,487.

L$32,487 converts to US$131.53.

US$131.53 have today been forwarded to The Ali Forney Center, below is a picture of the PDF I received acknowledging the donation of that amount.

Tomais and I would like to thank everyone who was there for making it such a great time. We are aware that some of you could not stay long because of the lag, but thanks for trying.

We would also like to thank our friends DJ Kahvy and his host Garrett, a.k.a. The Smith Boys, for helping us in making this a wonderful party. Thanks also to my brother Dejerrity Mycron for proving "Top Security" at the event, despite constant crashing.

Madonna in Concert@Provincetown

"It is Provincetown's 9th Anniversary.  Provincetown (PTOWN) is the oldest LGBT friendly sim in Second Life.  To kick off a week of celebrations, "Madonna : The Virtual History Tour" will be in concert tomorrow (Sunday July 26, 2015) at 1PM SLT.

New numbers, new sets, hot dancers, and of course Madge herself!  Come join us as we celebrate Ptown and rock out to Madonna!

Historic Provincetown sim - Madonna Concert (SLurl)

Pool Party, Today Saturday July 25

Tomais and I are pleased to welcome you all to a pool party today between 1-3 PM SLT at our home on Southern Charm.

This event is to inaugurate our new pool and also to give you the opportunity to roam around the sim and take a look at the new mansion and the amazing landscaping by Samuel Fallen of Lytton & Fallen.

Entertainment will be provided by The Smith Boys, DJ Kahvy and host Garrett, assisted by my brothers Dejerrity Mycron and J.J. Goodman.

If you are so inclined, you will have the opportunity to leave a charitable donation to The Ali Forney Center (AFC).
The Smith Boys are graciously donating their time and labours to the AFC.

The Ali Forney Center (AFC), based in New York, is the largest LGBT community center helping LGBT homeless youth in the United States. The AFC both manages and develops transitional housing for its clients. The AFC helps approximately 1,000 youths every year, most between sixteen and twenty-four years old. The AFC is named after Ali Forney, a transgender youth who was murdered in New York in 1997

Dear S-i-S,

There are no fixed rules! Individual circumstances and the individuals involved are paramount in deciding when enough-is-enough-is-enough for you, not - and I repeat not - for the person who hurts you.

In deciding this you must take into consideration "The 5 W's and the H", who, when, what, where and why and, finally, how it makes you feel.

If it is someone you don't know and don't care about there are no second chances at all however minor the offense is, whereas if it is a child or someone you love deeply there may not be a limit at all. Well, not until you feel that their saying "I'm sorry" for the umpteenth time just isn't enough anymore. You simply have had enough and do not wish to let yourself be hurt by that person again. That is when you pull up stakes and move yourself out of harm's way and do what you can to avoid further contact!

However, always keep in mind, you are human and are allowed to change your mind if and when you want to. There is always, always, a tomorrow... But, and this is a big one, before you forgive and forget, ask yourself if there has been any real indication of change in the other person. Otherwise you may just be setting yourself up to be hurt again.
