The Jesters Hat Goes To Second Pride

As the proud creator of the fashion forward Jesters Hat, only recommended for the most daring of fashionistas, I was happy to find two pictures of it on Jeff Ellsworth's blog.

I should have known that some of the gay men would understand my vision.

As some of you know this fashionable hat is the base of the BMcM Corporation, everything started with this hat. It is the creation to which I own my fame or infamy!

Only two other people loved it before, my Ars and Millimina, and that may well be because they love me too.

Too Hard and Too Thick

This is not a picture of the traumatizing bedding

...and no, don´t you even go there, this post is about nothing other than hotel pillows, but you are otherwise correct in assuming that those two specific objections were never going to come from me.

The primatar of the Much Honored Bock McMillan, laird of Southern Charm and CEO of the BMcM Corporation, spent last night in a substandard hotel bed in real life.

In the hotels that he usually frequents guests are always offered a selection of at least three different types of pillows, not so in the one he stayed in last night. There were two pillows, but both where the same - way too hard and too thick. The laird - as any other gentleman - prefers flat, soft and downy pillows.

After some anguish, pain and rolling around half the night he finally fell asleep, only too wake up in the morning feeling like he had broken his neck.

The laird is now seriously contemplating turning over this matter to his legal staff for possible action against the hotel, but perhaps a good nights sleep on his own pillows may make him reconsider.

It was today brought to the McMillan households attention that the lairds bosom-buddy Mr. Apmel Goosson yesterday announced on his blog that his primatar Mr. Lennart Nilsson was going to take part in the MachinimUWA III: Journeys competition and that all his winnings from that contest would be donated to The Bock McMillan Art Foundation (a part of the BMcM Corporation).

When the news reached the household Wild Zepp, spokesman for the McMillan household, made the following statement:
"The much honored Bock McMillan, laird of Southern Charm and chairman of the art foundation, graciously accepts Mr Goossons generous contribution to the foundation and wishes him the best of luck in the competition.

It is an honor for the foundation to receive this benign attention from such a renowned benefactor of art and culture in SecondLife."

Matchmaking

Andrey photographed by Andrey
Well, with a hot brother in-law like Andrey you have to be proud!

This is a Google-translation to Portuguese of parts of a very old Swedish song, if it turns out obscene blame Google:
"Ele anda como um homem
Ele parece um homem
Com um corpo como um homem
E ele beija como um homem.

Ele tem o charme de um homem
Ele é frio como um homem
Casualmente como um homem
E ele se move como um homem deve"

In English it would be:
"He walks like a man
He looks like a man
With a body like a man
And he kisses like a man should.

He has charm as a man
He is cool as a man
Casual like a man
And he moves like a man should"

If you want to get to know this wonderful, loving, sweet, studly and perfectly breathtaking piece of man please drop your written application in a note card on my profile. I cannot emphasize enough that you must have brains, brawn and a big heart to apply! Oh and you need to have a penis also!

Andrey speaks Portuguese and English fluently.

The note card must be in any of the Scandinavian languages or English and must contain at the very least the following:
1. Your name
2. Your age in both lifes
3. Your interests in both lifes
4. A picture of your face and your body in SecondLife taken in full day light (full frontal nudity is encouraged but not mandatory)
5. Any further information about yourself that you wish to share

Do not send written recommendations from your mother, ex-lovers, employers etc. until you are asked for it during the screening process.

Bock Gets Banned

This blog was today informed by a friendly reader that The Much Honored Bock McMillan, Laird of Southern Charm and CEO of the BMcM Corporation has - for the first time ever - been banned from a sim in SecondLife (see picture).

When the blog contacted the McMillan household for a comment on this surprising news Mr. Wild Zepp, spokesman for the clan McMillan, gave the following statement:
"Laird McMillan is proud and honored to receive such singular attention from a minor shopkeeper and club owner in SecondLife, especially since neither he or his family have any intentions of ever visiting that particular avatars establishments for reasons which he choses not to elaborate on. The Laird however extends his regrets to all other shop owners on that sim that he and his household cannot grace them with their business."

Stupid Git #5

As you may have read here earlier I started building quite late in SecondLife.

Most likely this was a result of being surrounded by many awesome builders and creators in my close SecondLife family, Ars, GuykeHaakon and Martial were/are all amazing builders. Whatever I needed they could build or create for me and it would look better than if I tried making it myself.

When I finally felt the urge to start, it was sometime between my second and third years in SecondLife, my efforts were met with great support from the immediate family (especially from Ars). I have heard from others that he was very happy that I had started to build and kept boasting about my builds.

One of my first builds/creations/designs was of course "The Party Hat" which was soon followed by the renowned "The Jesters Hat". The worldwide success of the Jesters Hat among the hardcore fashionistas in-world was the of course the foundation of my own label "BMcM" and the BMcM Corporation.

At about this time I started going to the building and design classes for beginners that were held in SecondSweden by Ironside Carlberg and my dear friend Kay Uggla, after which I started creating the most amazing lines of clothing.

I am sure you all remember my wonderful line of candle-sticks. I think I may have burdened everyones Inventory with these on every possible occasion. (If you have deleted them please do not tell me, because I love to think they are still safe there.)

Moving along, when Ars passed away I lost my inspiration for the longest while. About six weeks ago I started to fiddle with building again. But something was very wrong! I couldn't build/create/design in my usual smooth style and manner. The viewer just wasn't cooperating. Everytime I tried to change a shape of something using the Edit-menu I heard an echoing "Thud" that drove me to the brink of desperation.

I naturally first blamed the viewer and ranted about the poor quality of the Phoenix. I uninstalled it completely - yes in all the folders on my computer - about 15 times, reinstalled it again being careful not to change anything in the build settings to no avail at all. My problems kept reoccurring.

I complained my misery to everyone who had the patience to listen, had my settings gone through about 5 times by the patient Vampi. Nothing helped.

Late yesterday I think I solved the problem when I suddenly realized I was writing in a "dot" in the Edit-menu where the viewer wanted a "comma". The shapes started changing nicely and according to my intentions.

So I now declare to the world that The Much Honored Bock McMillan, laird of Southern Charm, and CEO of the BMcM Corporation is a stupid git!

(...and the last is especially true when I later the same day discovered that I had not really found the problem ... )

Living the Life Fantastic

It´s definitely not easy being a SLebrity these days. The Linden Lab has told me they cannot take responsibility for my safety as Chairman of the Board of The BMcM Corporation if I didn´t hire some lifeguards, especially considering some of the sims I visit.

The guys accompanying  me on the picture were the only two I could find in a rush. They look sorta cheesy but are rather sweet and make me feel safer.

The blond one is Michail, he is Russian and an ex-hockey player on their National team. The Latino with the beard is Pepe, he used to be a professional wrestler and "actor" in the adult film industry before he recently decided to go into a career in security.

And for the love of Rod Humble, aka Rodvik Linden, don´t complain about lag in local, it´s so boring and the rest of us are already dealing with it on our own. If you really, really, really need to verbalize your frustration write a note card about it and send it to yourself or one of your alts.

BMcM Corp + Microsoft + SecondLife = TRUE

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh my God, the plot thickens! What a busy afternoon it has been. This is an account of what happened when I was celebrating my nieces 2nd birthday in real life today.

I, that is Bock McMillan, Laird of Southern Charm, Second Life fahionista and business tycoon (interim CEO och Chairman of the Board of BMcM Corporation) etc. etc., was joined there by my bosom buddies Mr William "Bill" Gates, businessman (Microsoft), computer geek and philantropist and Mr. Philip Rosedale (a k a Philip Linden), stunningly cute non-fashionista, computer geek and interim CEO and Chairman of the Board of Linden Lab (owners of Second Life).

The three of us have a long-standing and very close friendship, although both Mr Gates and Mr. Rosedale hastily implored me to add that our friendship is "of course of a totally non-sexual nature".

Between eating birthday cake, drinking excessive amounts of black coffee and singing birthday songs for the lovely little girl, we had time to discuss the upcoming merger of our three companies. I am happy to inform you we are letting our minions close the deal before the end of the coming week.

After all this name-dropping I hope you all realize it´s high time to start sucking up...

(And then I woke up and discovered I had to hurry to get to the party in time!)

BMcM Corporation to buy OutWorldz?

Archive photography, Bock McMillan
After yesterdays rumours about Microsofts alleged bids to buy Linden Lab and Second Life the Internet today started buzzing about the next big deal in the Virtual Worlds business.

It is now claimed on the blogs, Twitter and Plurk that the mighty BMcM Corporation has shown some interest in acquiring "OutWorldz", a.k.a "InWorldz" or "Low Budget Second Life"

This blogger tried to get confirmation of the rumours by directly contacting the interim CEO and Chairman of the Board of BMcM Corp, Mr. Bock McMillan

After an extensive search Mr McMillan was found as he was exiting from a house of ill repute in the Zindra zone. Mr. McMillans responses were at first rather evasive and he declined to comment at all. Pressured by this blogger he finally erupted and said, "Why the hell would we want to invest good money in that awful place? We are not in the habit of squandering our shareholders money on useless or profitless activity!"

There is of course always the possibilty that Mr McMillans response was a blatant lie so as not to disturb any ongoing negotiations.
