My brother in-law Michelangelo Villota also celebrates his eight rezday today, and I am sorry to say that I would have missed it hadn't been for my sweet sister in-law Fannie Villota reminding me.

To the Queen of Our Hearts

Today we celebrate the rezday of Hare Majesteit Koningin BM, the absolute and undisputed ruler of The Netherlands in SecondLife, and the much, much, younger and much more beautiful dear cousin of the Much Honored Bock McMillan, laird of Southern Charm etc., etc.

One should never discuss the age of a lady, they are always timeless and ageless once they have passed there 18th birthday, this rule is even stricter when it comes to our nobility and royalty. Nonetheless they do have rezdays, even though they do not celebrate them.

Besides being the supreme ruler of The Netherlands in SecondLife, this spectacular woman is also the Queen of four - at least (unknown lovers are untold) - men's hearts.

The four of us join in congratulating our sweet, charming and amazingly patient Queen and wishing Hare Majesteit a happy and relaxing rezday!

Hip Hip Hooray, Because I'm Eight Today!

Today I celebrate my 8th rezday in SecondLife. Who would have thought - that day long ago - when I first logged in that I would still be here eight years later? Not me, for one!

There have of course been times when I have asked myself what the fuck I am doing here. I can tell you two reasons about why I continue to come back, although I have sometimes doubted my sanity.

The first reason - and absolutely most important one - is the other residents. In the wonderful, strange and exciting world of SecondLife, I have found good, caring and interesting people to spend my time with. Two of them have become my lovers, a few more have become my family or close friends while others have been good friends or interesting and exciting acquaintances.

The second reason is that nowhere else can I dance better and look so good while doing it!

Thank you friends and family for our first eight years together, I am so looking forward to the next eight years with you all!

Finally but not least, thank you so much to all the generous donors and to the wonderful and imaginative guests! I love you guys, thank you so much for helping out. I transferred USD 145.17 to the +Ali Forney Center on behalf of Tomais and Dej.

The Transfer of Donations from the Rezday Bash

For reasons that will become apparent by my next post I will not blog much today.

However, I wished to report on the transfer of the donations to the Ali Forney Center that were made at the Dej & Tomais Rezday Bash without delay.

The guests at the party were extremely generous and the final amount of the donations were the fabulous sum of L$36.000.

I got the conversion rate from L$ to US$ on the SecondLife website.

That exact amount was then immediately, on behalf of the rezday boys, donated to the Ali Forney Center on it's website after which I received the following receipt (I have redacted my first life name and exact address).

Six years ago today my darling Tomais rezzed into SecondLife.

I am very happy that both he and I have manipulative and meddling friends who thought we might be suitable for each other and maneuvered to get us to meet. And yes, Rylan and Ziggy, I am indeed thinking about the two of you!

Guyke Turns Seven Today

More Than Third Rezday...

My wonderful, sweet and awesome sister Millimina Salamander first rezzed into SecondLife on December 6, 2008, which means that she today celebrates her... Ugh, I am terrible with really high numbers so let's just say she is more than three years old from this days onwards.

Without the love, support and encouragement of this delightfully crazy, marvelously bitchy and superbly humorous woman my life would be dismal. Millimina always (Always Millimina, and don't you forget it!) gives more energy than she takes to everyone around her, and to me more than to most others.

Who could imagine that this wonderful, young, soul named Dejerrity Mycron rezzed into SecondLife already on the 23rd of October in 2006 and that he now turns seven years old?

All I can say is, that I am not sure I would still be in SecondLife if it were not for Dej (and a few others). Dej may be an acquired taste, but once you realize there is a warm and kind heart underneath the somewhat rough exterior you are addicted for life.
