As Requested

When I last published my Noche thong picture, my friend Petr requested I post pictures from the front and the back to prove that my butt is as firm, perky and manly as I claim.

Ladies and gentlemen may I present the visual proof, with thanks to my brother JJ for taking the pictures. The mesh body is Signature Gianni, with the butt size set to 100.

Enjoy!

Response to [Julie]

Dear [Julie],
Thank you very much for your email. It was much appreciated, and I was particularly touched by you having shared my words to Dej at his first life service. That way he got to hear it twice and cannot deny it.
Families are messy. We know each other so well and for such a long time. We know exactly how to hurt one another most and - in some cases - we use that knowledge. It is always sad when it happens, and I can understand how one feels helpless to alter the situation. So many cogs that must click into each other and balance each other at the same time for the relationships to improve.
My own family was on the opposite end of the spectra, possibly because both my parents came from dysfunctional family backgrounds and had sworn their children would never have to go through the same. Instead we were lovingly overprotected and had to fight ourselves free of their need to control our lives, still, there was always love and help when one needed it.
I, of course, knew that Dej had a very tense relationship with his family, although he never told me why. I didn't pry either. We shared the information we wished to share and nothing more was asked. For a while, after your father passed away, I thought he might be relenting but then it seemed to stop.
SecondLife is not "a game" per se, not for most of its users. There are no points to be won or anything of the sort. We build, socialize, party, make friends and families. You can be as outgoing as you wish or as withdrawn as you like. I'll send you a picture of my SecondLife avatar right now. Don't whistle too loudly, please, you may wake your neighbors!
Dej absolutely loved Jeff Buckley's rendition of "Hallelujah". He would have been extremely pleased to know you remembered that and played it for him at his service. Of that I am certain.
The fact that Dej and I got along so famously for eight years is a miracle, we both had a temper, although he was without a doubt the most volcanic. I used to tell him - repeatedly that I must be "The Most Patient and Humble Man in SecondLife" to still be friends with him. He would sing me a line from some silly musical and we would laugh at each other. (That is to explain the name of the picture I am sending you.)
As I believe I already told Andy, I had been badgering and begging Dej to go see a doctor the last two years, as his cough seemed to get continuously worse. He did not budge, and it is difficult to make a grown man listen and follow your advice if he doesn't want to. I was so angry with Dej when I heard from Andy that the cause of his death was untreated pneumonia. If he had still been alive I would have clobbered him over the head until he passed out.
Still, neither you, the rest of his first life family or I should feel guilty. None of us could have made him see a doctor if he didn't wish to. It would have been a case of finding him when he was passed out and still savable for that to work. And how would any of us now that when he did not reach out and tell us? No guilt, [Julie], no guilt. Dej was a grown man and made poor choices that in the end cost him his life. Although I will always love him and remember him, I refuse to feel guilty, neither should you!
Swedes hug a lot and all the time, so I am sending you a hug. Just deal with it 😉
Hugs,
[Bock]

Going For Shock Value

Imagine, the most fashion-forward person in your life, yup that's I, doing something of a never-heard-of-before magnitude to disturb your peace of mind and complacency.
Here you see the Much Honored Bock McMillan in the "Hiking Sandals" from Lenox. (Whoever heard of hiking sandals before?) Yes, I am  (for once) wearing socks with sandals.

Well, I look good and my legs look totes adorbs and lickable, wouldn't you agree?

Clean-Up In Aisle 7

Tomais has gotten an automated cleaning crew up on his platform. We haven't really gotten it to recognize what is trash and what isn't...

P.S. I just realized I misspelled aisle. *sigh*

3M+1T=?

In these troubling times a quartet of four world leaders have stepped up to ward off the powers of evil and have vowed to protect "Truth, Justice and the way of life of Western Democracies".

They are, from left to right,
Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany,
Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic,
Bock McMillan, Laird of Southern Charm and
Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada.

The four are collective known as "The League of Truth, Trust and Justice".

The montage was created by Abobe Spark free photo collage maker.

Esselebrity Makes A Painful Fashion Statement

Today the esselebrity Mr. Apmel Goosson Esq., world renowned blogger, fashionista and recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award of The Bock McMillan Art Foundation (A part of the BMcM Corporation) in 2011, proved that he was a highly qualified recipient of the award.

In the spirit of the old Swedish adage "Den som vill vara fin, får lida pin" ("If you wish to be beautiful, you must suffer the pain" - sort of like "No pain, no gain!") by observing the rule of not wearing socks with sandals despite admitting that his feet were cold.

Friday Coma

As most Friday's I am exhausted after the work-week. I am not quite sure if it's my increasing age or the lack of sleep - or poor sleep during the week - that makes me so tired when Friday comes along.
"Exhausted, self portrait 2018" by Bock McMillan
Once upon a time Fridays used to be party time, now I just want to throw up at the thought. Ah, let's give up the pretence, I'm getting old - although the sleep thing may contribute.

"Of A Certain Age"

You may not have noticed yet, but the laird has recently been published by Amazon. "The Book of Bock. Collected wisdoms and guidelines for life and social media presence for an avatar in postindustrial society. Part 1." Available in Kindle and hardcover for $6.24 (includes VAT).

"When an avatar if ´of a certain age' it is always best to photograph them in a harsh and brilliant lighting to obliterate and cover up any and all imperfections and blemishes that may have developed during their evolution. If nothing else helps take them to Chouchou." (BoB 2018, p 234)

To think that I would have to follow my own gentle guidelines when I was thinking about what picture to post for my eleventh rezday.

Oh my, can it really be true? I am older that dirt in SecondLife and Philip Linden must certainly have used me to rub the shit of his shoes after his first rezzing in-world.

"It Is Considered A Fashion Faux Pas"

I and the guys visited the one year anniversary celebration of Achille's "Men's Nudist Beach" (a.k.a. MNB or Men's Clothed Beach) yesterday.
Holt, I, Tomais, JJ and Wayne
After awhile I saw something on one of my friends that shook me to the core.

Old men all over the world do it without shame. Germans and Brits do it. Hell, even David Beckham does it! And in the fashion seasons of 2010 and 2014 some designers attempted to make it trendy, but - Thank the Babylonians! - failed. We are talking about wearing socks with sandals.

Now, according to Wikipedia, this is an age old point of contention in men's fashion. "Wearing socks and sandals together is a controversial fashion combination and social phenomenon that is discussed in various countries and cultures. It is considered a fashion faux pas."

So, one of my friends was actually wearing sandals with socks, believe it or not... Surprisingly it was the most fashion forward among us sporting this weird combination, the awesome and well known SecondLife fashion icon, fashion vlogger, film director and producer (link takes you to his YouTube Channel) and not least a brilliant photographer (link to his Flickr), Mr. WayneNZ Esq.
Wayne in socks and sandals
Ladies and gentleman, I am now going to ask you for your opinion, is it the combination of socks and sandals cool or uncool? Please take the poll in the top right corner and add any additional remarks you may have in the comments.

Pocket Size Bock: "Is My Ass Too Big?"

The new and much improved Bock is now shorter than he has ever been since he was a noob in SecondLife. He is now down to a height of only 2,15 meters (7’1”).
Morning Swim
I love my new shape and the shorter height, especially what the shrinkage has done to the shape of my legs and calves, which are now "absolutely delicious" according to myself. Nonetheless, I worry that my ass may - possibly - look too big.

There's A New Superhero Team InWorld

A new superhero team premiered last night in SecondLife. It's the Amazingly Patient and Never Cranky Bock McMillan and his cute sidekick Tomais.
"I'm Starsky, he's Hutch" by Tomais Ashdene
It is rumored that Bock is a gay nobleman who steals from the rich to give to the poor and fights crime, injustice and for the Scandinavian way of life diligently as he goes along.

Most of Bock's superpowers haven't been revealed yet but it is known that he can fly, teleport and charm the pants of anyone with his dazzling smile.
