Attempted Murder

My friend Eddi Haskell - who should know better when I am standing with one foot in the grave with the worst cold in Christendom - almost killed me off completely with these moving clips of "adorable Auntie Edwina and slutty Cousin Bockella" on his blog Eddi Haskell´s Second Life.

Happy Blogoversary, Eddi Haskell´s Second Life!

Sunday was the third blogoversary of my buddy Eddi Haskell´s blog "Eddi Haskell´s Second Life" and I nearly missed it altogether. Thanks for the reminder to Avacar Bluestar at GWNews!

Another year down, Eddi, and many, many more to go!

Sorry for the belated greeting, you almost succeeded in sneaking it past me. If it hadn't been for Avacar you might have made it.

"Bock, You Are Such A Lens Bug"

As I reported yesterday, I left the Imagine peacefest at Solace Island on Sunday rather hastily.

This was because I received a call from my buddy Eddi Haskell, major SLebrity, blogger, fashionista, photographer, machinimista etc. etc., to come to the shooting of his appearance on The DJ Insyx Show. This show is a weekly show produced by the great people over at Gay-World News.

When I informed my sister Millimina Salamander that I was leaving and the reason for it she said, "Bock, you are such a lens bug!" (A "lens bug" (linslus) is a Swedish colloquial phrase referring to someone who very much likes to be photographed.)

Although I told her I was just going to be a part of the audience at the taping and would most likely not appear on camera, she just laughed me off. My sister is loving but sometimes I want to wring her neck!

The reason I went so fast to the taping was of course that I assumed he would tell the story about what happened to him in real life at the Hotel Mark Twain in San Francisco along with a hot blond. But no such luck this time. instead he went on and on about other interesting topics concerning his Secondlife experiences.

You can see the taped show on Eddi´s blog Eddi Haskell´s Second Life My Second Life Television Debut.... (Be careful with the sound level, start out low.)

Real Life Hunk - Koji

My friend Eddi Haskell does a post about "a real life hunk" on his blog Eddi Haskell´s Second Life every week. I have done one earlier about Tom Ford, but when my attention was directed towards this handsome Japanese athlete by an Anonymous reader (who is a sports-geek) I felt the need to share.

It´s strange how this person could know my taste in men, isn't it?

Dr.Koji Alexander Murofushi (室伏 アレクサンダー 広治 Murofushi Arekusandā Kōji, born October 8, 1974, in Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture) is a Japanese hammer thrower. He has been among the world elite since the 2001 World Championships, where he won the silver medal, and he also won the gold medal in Athens Olympics.

Koji Murofushi comes from a hammer throwing family, as his father Shigenobu Murofushi is a former Olympian and held the Japanese record for 23 years until his son broke it, and his sister, Yuka Murofushi, throws both hammer and discus. Murofushi's Romanian-born mother, Serafina Moritz, was a javelin thrower for Romania, European Junior champion in 1968, and Romanian senior champion in 1970. She is now a glass painter, and lives in Toyota, Aichi Prefecture.

All the information above is from the article about Koji on Wikipedia - The Free Encyclopedia.

Take the Poll About Mesh

"How excited are you about Mesh?"

That´s the question my friend Eddi Haskell is asking in the poll on his blog this week. Go to Eddi Haskell´s Second Life and tell us what your opinion is.

I Concede Defeat

There is now only about an hour left on the poll for or against a ban on circumcision of infant males on my friend and c-blogger Eddi Haskell´s blog Eddi Haskell´s SecondLife.

Unfortunately I must now concede defeat in that poll. I still firmly believe that the procedure should be baned but have through the discussion that has taken place also gotten a better understanding of the emotional, cultural and sociological aspects involved.

Hopefully this understanding will help me in my future work campaigning against the widespread practice. I feel as if I have "lost a battle, but can still win the war for the foreskin" so to speak.

Vote Against Infant Circumcision

A truly inspired commercial for a man owning a circumcision clinic in the Philippines
My friend and co-blogger Eddi Haskell has started a vote for or against infant circumcision. Our debate started after a mutual friend and co-blogger Torro Spyker came out against infant circumcision on his blog The Bullring.

My own position on the issue, as I have said before, (so this is partly a  repost) is that mass-circumcision of infant boys is genital mutilation and child abuse. Admittedly there are a few cases when it is warranted by medical reasons, but otherwise I cannot see any valid arguments for this procedure being performed on infants.

In my mind this surgery should only be performed with informed consent on adult men. I for one would hate to have my foreskin removed, just saying.

(And yes, I totally agree that female circumcision is much more invasive and a more important issue to fight against, as it leads to more problems for the women later in life and also deprives them of the possibility to fully enjoy sex.)

----

As I have said already in a comment on The Bullring: "My position is basically a Human Rights one and can be boiled down to this.

Leave the children's bodies alone, both boys and girls. Teach them healthy routines to clean up their genitals on a daily basis.

...all the rest is religion and culture screwing up with nature."

Now head on over to Eddi´s blog Eddi Haskell´s Second Life and tell us what your position is on this matter.

For me the only possible vote in this pole is "Yes", actually I would have preferred an option saying "Hell yes!"

Eddi Wants Your Poster!

Bock as seen by Chade Dagger and then "Photofuniad"
My friend and co-blogger Eddi Haskell is calling for your posters on his blog Eddi Haskell´s Second Life. Head on over to read the post and the particular requirements and get his email.

This is my contribution, with a slogan ripped off from L'Oréal skincare products. For the non-francophone among my readers the meaning of the slogan is "Because we are worth it".

I suggest you start mail-bombing him straight away - I did!

Good News on Good Friday

I got this wonderful news on this Good Friday morning and feel I have to share it with you my devoted readers.

The blog is honored to welcome it´s first visitor from the Nation of Brunei, the Abode of Peace (بروني دارالسلام). That is actually the full official name in English, isn't it just beautiful?

My blog friend Eddi Haskell used to have a very impressive "Flagcounter" collection at the bottom of his blog Eddi Haskell´s Second Life. I hope to one day amass the same amount of countries that have visited my blog, it may take some time... I think there must have been close to 300 flags.

Essential Information for Travel Planning

Well my friend Eddi Haskell uncovered sensational and important news on his blog Eddi Haskell´s Second Life yesterday, see the map above.

For future travel plans it is essential to study the map carefully and read Eddi´s post where he shares his vast research and dedicated studies in this essential matter.

I do not claim the same vast experience as Eddi. However, after comparing my own experiences with the statistics on the map, I must conclude that I have been very fortunate in my encounters with Polish, Argentinian, Norwegian and American penises and extremely unfortunate in my choice of Danish and French partners.

My BIL Andrey will be happy for this one, but I am not sure how he will react on seeing that Bolivian, Colombian, Ecuadorian and Venezuelan dicks are supposedly larger.

My deepest apologies to the ladies for this post, but guys will be guys and we always compare...

On Bitches

"Honey, just because I keep on calling you a bitch does not mean that I don't love you!" (from Eddi Haskell´s Second Life)

I have always loved the biggest bitches in the basket - of every and any gender known to man - and strangely enough I usually get along with them famously.

(FYI If anyone tries the obvious comeback on this in the comments let me tell you straight away "I am not one of your fans...!")
