Report From the War Room

The news reached Southern Charm on Thursday that Her Serene Majesty Mialinn, Queen of Second Norway, had declared war on the Much Honored Bock McMillan, laird of Southern Charm and prince of Cascade Falls.

Ever since the MIA (McMillan Intelligence Agency) had filed their report with the Minister of Defense Hedda Millar she had been belligerent and swearing even more than usual. Some of the extremely cute men of the sim walked around with a permanent blush and seemed very flustered after meting with her.

Hedda of course followed procedure and called all the high-and-mighty of Southern Charm to an immediate meeting in the war room, located ten kilometers below the welcoming and beautiful surface of the sim. Such meetings are mandatory when the safety of the laird or the sim are threatened.

All of the powers-that-be of the McMillan house hold had been locked up down there since Thursday, with no news of what was going on leaking to the restless and anxious hoi polloi nobilty and commoners up on the surface. However, the meeting is now over and we are being reached with several accounts of what has been happening.

The laird himself had seemed calm and in a good mood despite the urgency of the meeting.

The hawks at the meeting are rumored to have been Hedda Millar (naturally), her aide-the-camp Minerva Xenno and the identical twins Admiral Duncan Aycliffe, Chief of the Southern Charm Naval Forces and Coast Guard, and Field Marshall Angus Maldor, Chief of the Army and Royal Air Force.

The doves are said to have been represented by Prime Minister Wild Zepp, The Ambassador to the Court of Saint James Callum Beamish, the Foreign Minister Seamus Lycheborne and General Matt Gaboian, Chief of the Marine Corps.

Seemingly Hedda Millar started the meeting with a plea to the laird, this is the only word-for-word account that has reached us as yet (civil translation in brackets). "My kind sweet laird, give me permission to nuke this ÜƧ‗z£ (woman) who has spent the last three years z☺"☻Üú{©¹→1 ☺ ☺54 z☺"☻Üú{©¹→1 ☺ ☺ ÜƧ‗z£ (surgically enhancing her bosom to such a size that she now needs goggles with periscopes to look in front of her when she walks). I will send ©¹→1 ☺ (her) to hell where she rightfully belongs. Please, milord, please!"

The laird is said to have smiled softly at her and have asked her to sit down and breathe. "It is true, we have had an armed detente with the Queendom of Second Norway during the last decade, but I actually cannot see that the declaration of war from the good Queen Mialinn should be taken seriously, to the contrary. To me it seems that her post should be read as a joking peace offering. You all know this already, I love Norwegians and would never contemplate any obliteration of them and their beautiful sims, besides I have been sending friends to live there. They might be hurt too. We do not want to kill Ziggy Starsmith and Drew Barnard and all the other friends we have managed to sneak in there, do we?"

After this the mood of the meeting is said to have changed. The princes and princesses instead started laying plans on how to deal with the hundreds of Vikings the Norwegian queen had promised to send. Duncan came up with a devious plan.

"Well", he started, "we all know that all straight men are not as straight as they seem. Lets make a drink of ginger ale and some Tabasco sauce. When they come we will serve it to them and tell them that if they drink the potion they will forget everything they do and will no longer be responsible for their actions. That should turn a lot of the bi-curious or closeted gays around and we would have a good time too. The ones it doesn´t have an affect on we leave to Hedda and Minerva do deal with."

With that they laughingly left the war room and went up to their waiting countrymen shouting "Pounce the sexy Vikings, pounce them and lets enjoy ourselves!"

Friday with the Boys

Yesterday I had a prearranged meeting with Ziggy Starsmith at The Rainbow Yacht Club. He was going to pick me up there to show me his new home in Second Norway.

Even though I was a bit nervous about his typing at the same stime as he was driving everything went well and we soon docked safely at his new home. The house lies directly by the waterfront and you only have to get out of the boat to be there.

I was relieved to hear that his next door neighbor was Mialinn Telling herself. She probably wants to keep an eye on him, quite understandably, even if he has calmed down considerably during the time I have known him.
Although Ziggy only moved in a few days ago he had already gotten a new house in place and had finished furnishing and decorating it. That usually takes me a couple of weeks or months. We had a great time inspecting the new parcel, the house and just talking.  All the time I was secretly looking at his wonderful hairy calves.

Then I got an IM from my stepson Guyke, inviting us both over to take a look at the work he and his husband Janttu had been doing in remodeling their homestead. The results so far is great I can tell you and a immense change from earlier.

When I saw the new privy they had installed I felt the need to try it out, and I can tell you it was very comfortable.

Although it seems as if I am alone on the picture, I had an audience of three watching me so it was not my most restful moment on the loo.

I tried to get a picture of the four of us together in front of their beautiful new green house, but the two young ones both had their irritatingly fidgeting cruising Animation Overrides (AO) on. This is the best I could do with Janttu showing himself from his best side. (Well, I did actually get a good picture of all of us facing forward, but this was still my favorite.)

We finished the visit with some ballroom dancing in the boys wonderful new dance area, a gazebo with a stunning fountain in the middle. It was very relaxing to dance and talk among friends and after awhile I felt the Friday coma set in and had to leave for my beauty sleep.

Oh What A Night

I am totally exhausted today after the wonderful rezday celebration yesterday for my BIL and me - and so happy and fortunate to be surrounded by these caring, loving and wonderful people in my SecondLife!

For now I will only say thanks to all who came and took part in celebrating Andrey and me on our fourth rezday but in particular I would like to thank the following for organizing and participating in making this amazing evening and night possible.

Andrey, my wonderful BIL and a fantastic DJ with one of the biggest hearts I have ever met, for talking me into doing it at all at a time when I wasn't particularly thrilled by the idea of a rezday party, in fact I had just a few days earlier turned down suggestions from Guyke and Millimina.

Millimina, Guyke and Janttu, my always supportive and loving family, who organized the most amazing and hilarious party imaginable in a very short time. (...and then calmly saved the day as the first thing I did when I got there was to derez the party venue.)

Strum and Stirred, two of the most beautiful souls in SecondLife and one of the most beautiful, witty and touching voices on the SecondLife music scene (...and I only mention one voice because I haven´t had the privilege to hear Stirred sing - not yet...). I am so proud to count both of these dudes among my friends.

Bara, my amazing and lovely buddy since for ever, who always hits every spot possible in me with his songs and his warm voice.

Sarco, the iconic and legendary DJ and my friend since the earliest days. Oh yes I do admit there were times I did not love him but that was mainly due to my ignorance, my Ars always loved him and at the end and they had made their peace. I will always rely on Sarco´s excellent memory reminding me of events that I have long since forgotten, that always bring back the love I had for Ars and the love the two of them had for each other through all the turmoil.

There are four more I would like to mention here and they are, Svessa, Frost, Mialinn and Blanche. Thanks to you all for accepting my outstretched hand over the rift that has divided the Swedish/Scandinavian SecondLife community.

In these days when the earth shudders, when nuclear power plants explode, when dictators are toppled and go down slaughtering their own people I have been immersed in my own private affairs. True it may be pathetic but it is also very human I guess. During days like these I have also realized how petty the fracas and in-fighting has been.

Stay tuned for updates with amazing pictures from the party as soon as I have gathered the energy to sort out all my impressions and all the wonderful things that happened. And dealing with a bit of real life in between.

I love you all, all who were at the party and all who sent greetings but couldn't come because they had other obligations to deal with in First Life and in SecondLife.

Au Revoir Grenouille Inn

Well last night was wild and crazy. Almost all the Swedish glitterati had assembled at Grenouille Inn for a send-off party before the establishment was moved to a yet undisclosed location (or I may just have missed that piece of info).

I was busy talking with two prominent members of the Norwegian SL-community, Mialinn Telling and Starry Sweetwater, most of the evening.

The beautiful couple Apollon Allen and Iendi Laville gave us all a wonderful party, with loads of beer and music from the 80´s.

As has become my (bad) habit at Grenouille I immediately jumped up on the bar to dance, and was followed by Ikaros String and Maffe Carlberg. We were soon joined by some of the other guys, Frosty Muggins, Frostland Beornsen, Jesper Prinz, Bejiita Imako, marcuz Palen and Sunshine and perhaps some more.

My conversation with the two charming Norwegian ladies distracted me greatly. After all I am a man and have very limited mutitasking capabilities. I can really only do one thing at a time. Suddenly I noticed there was an impromptu contest for "Best Male Avatar" going on and hurried to join and we were all losing articles of clothing to attract attention and votes.

Unfortunately I could not manage to get my darn computer to obey me, so I got no pictures on my own.

My modesty prevents me from telling you who won ... to his own surpirise, but Frostland and Frosty got up on the bar after the voting had already started otherwise I am sure one of them would have won, both of them seem to have been woring out a lot lately and they were gorgeous.

On Blanche Argus blog I found a picture which I show you a detail of here. I wonder where my hair went - LOL.

Dungeons & Dragons at OrmDricka

Well tonight I was in a spectacular mood, I had had my talk with my brother Martial and all was well in the world again, so when I say that OrmDricka was going to have a Dungeons & Dragons theme I went out shopping.

Amazingly enough - for me - I knew exactly what I wanted. I had seen it before on my meanderings through the best stores in Second Life. And there it was waiting for me at "Fallen Gods". I hesitated between an Orc and a Flowery Fairie, but as I was so happy and feeling great I went for the fairie - in green to boot, following my sons advice it was best to "stick out of the crowd".

When I first got there everyone was wondering why i came as "The Incredible Hulk" but once I rezzed there was no more of that foolishness, until a new guest arrived and asked the same question... ;P

DJ Frost had the first part of the event and he played us some great tunes. The OD-crew was as always headed by Vampi and with sirhc and Svessa at the poles. As always they kept the guests in a good and humourous mood.

I even got the chance to bathe and dance in the champagne for ionce, it´s usually already taken when I get to the parties at OrmDricka. I felt the small bubbles tinkeling on my soft skin and into all my crevices mmmmmmmm...

DJ Lucien played for us at the second part of the event, as always we were thrilled by the rtunes he was spinning for us

At the end of my stay there we were joined by some nice people from Second Norway. Mialinn Telling as always looked hot. Loo Berensohn had found a funny outfit that looked like a cockroach. That gave their naughty companion Arcadia an idea, and she started to call me "Bockroach" haha...but by then it was time for me to leave anyhow.

To Mialinn

To my friend, Her Majesty the Queen Mialinn of Second Norway.

Sorry dearest Mialinn, I have a very bad cold so I am too tired to get in to see the ABBA-show in Second Norway tonight. I hope you all have a great time. As you already know I visit Second Norway often and I have always loved it there!

...and always remember, men should wear only black cycling shorts if they must wear them at all. If they are black, people will not get heart attacks and we will be spared from the indignity of public drooling!
